Here's his tweet:

"Only 5-10% of Muslims are extremists. In 1940, only 7% of Germans were Nazis. How'd that go?"

1) how's that dumb?
2) how is that a reason for suspension?

Except for that whole pesky ethnic cleansing trait they share.

I'm not going to have this debate on the recruiting forum; we can move over to the Politics forum if you want. In short though, it's reason for a suspension because radical Islam for many simply translates to Islam, and that connection to Nazis is not logical. Secondly, Nazis instituted regimes designed specifically to wipe out Jews and other undesirable peoples with the permission of the government in which they occupied. Thus, Nazis did not act alone in their extermination but were largely help by other white guys whereas no other Islamic groups desire to wipe Jews off the face of the planet besides these radical groups. Thirdly, ISIS and these radical groups are not participating in genocide based on racial predicates but religious ones; in fact, if you live under their regime they allow you to live if you convert, something the Nazis didn't give two $hits about. Finally, ESPN probably desires for their commentators to keep their mouths shut on social issues because it A.) does not add to their network and B.) turns the network into a more political platform which is the anthesis of what the network tries to be; aka, lets turn it to ESPN because I'm tired of hearing about how much the world sucks.

Yet they suck up to the LBGQT community and the PC police by awarding an ESPY to an athlete who has not participated in sports in 30+ years for sharing with the world that he/she has mental problems.

Ummm, writervol if you could take this convo to another thread, please? Thanks bunches.

I'm very impressed by Jennings. He's really got a drive you love to see in a young football player.

And, looking at the state of things, there's really reason to think next year's o-line could be quite good. I see Richmond and Hall at right and left tackle, respectively. I think they'll want Robertson at Center. Jones will be at one guard, and then you'll have your pick of folks to take the other guard spot (Kendrick, Boulware, Mosely, etc.).

:p

What is your point?

Did you read the tweet?

He basically made a point that only a small % of a whole can constitute enough evil to cause serious problems. He wasn't comparing their policies (even though both are pure evil)

Similarly if you read my post earlier I was questioning why when things like this happen, employers/advertisers freak out. Yet with the planned parenthood wickedness, politicians refuse to denounce the group.

Genocide is genocide no matter the justification (racial vs religious)

It's pretty clear that a lot of folks have forgotten O'Brien and O. Williams in the middle. There's a lot of hype about the two freshmen, but those guys are salty dogs, and they're gonna pay huge dividends for this team by being their reliable hard working selves. They'll also allow the freshmen to play and thrive while not bearing the weight of so much pressure. It's a really good situation for this D-line.

ESPN radio is pretty much diseased with social commentary at this point. Arthur Ashe Award was basically awarded to show ESPN's social awareness.

Presidential Race is looking more and more like something resembling a WWE event. Perhaps a Cage Match would be the best solution for American politics at this point.

And writervol remains stalwart. Haha. Well done, sir.

I'm sorry. Were you worried about depth at MLB? I'm not so much, and I'll tell you why.

It's been largely reported that it's a three man race between Bynum, Jumper, and newby Kirkland. That bodes well for depth as long as the starter is at least decent. I think we'll see a solid contribution there, but I have doubts that it will be a strength. Even if not, a solid contribution is all this defense will need.

:salute:

The day that MockingVol lost his ****. Just a warning guys, there is blood in the water. Any vapid or illogical posts I find will be crucified like you rarely see me do.

Well...now apparently.....they're saying he shot himself but it apparently didn't kill him....in critical condition.

Just let him die.

Disagree let him live and bunk him with an unproven white supremicist.

Seriously, he should be charged with a federal hate crime

woah, I hadn't heard that yet.. I heard he had posted videos on facebook/twitter of the murders.

He did...chilling...they were taken down. He was fired from that station two years ago and blamed the reporter.. He whispered "b****" after the shooting...put on Twitter that she was racist.

He was a problem everywhere he went. Used the race card whenever he could. Tried to sue the station that fired him and named everyone he worked with in the lawsuit, which the judge promptly threw out. He was a POS that tried to take the easy way out his whole life. Even wrote a manifestation and faxed it to ABC last night before he killed the journalists this morning. Scum of the earth
