To me personally, telling a woman what she can and cannot do with her body is evil. As stated in the American Constitution as well as my own. But this is america. Which means I have a right to my opinion, and so do you. So I shall not infringe upon your right to state your own opinion. Go Vols.

Don't fail to consider the baby. He/she has it's own DNA, with certain unalienable rights.

I had my first child last November, a girl, and I tell you man she has brought me so much joy. I honestly, now, do not see how people could do it. Im a tough dude, but it breaks my heart.

I realize that very likely most people see things as more grey than I do. And that this is not exactly the best forum to have this discussion. But we are already tumbling down the slope....sooooo.....

To me it's black and white:

Abortion is evil. All the time. Everytime.

And down and down the slope we go. When will the mods move us? We don't know. But in off-topic or political thread these posts will show. Yo yo yo

Yes. Yes. And yes.

Wow! You seriously think it's evil to tell a woman that she cannot abort the living being inside her body, which is there by the way, because she made the choice to have sex? More evil than killing that living being inside her body? I just don't understand it. Go Vols!!

What if she didn't make the choice? Maybe she was brutally raped? You still want her to have that a**hole's baby? I think you can understand that..

I would venture to guess that less than 5% of abortions are due to the reason you stated...maybe even less than 1%.

Just left beach and I tried to leave at a time that I would be going through Alabama at night and have very little memory of the experience. Just passed a grain bin house and it had a Bama flag flying. Left too early. Can't be unseen.

Well since it's your guess, that proves nothing. But you missed the point. Now I'm guessing from what you stated that you support the woman to have the rapist baby. Interesting and that's something I'll never understand.

So do you think the majority of abortions are due to rape? Come on...don't be naive. You know as well as I do that the vast majority don't even come close to fitting in that category. And yes, I can never support killing an innocent, living human being, who has no say or choice in the decision. There are PLENTY of parents out there who are on a list wanting to adopt a baby, because they can't have one themselves. JMO and beliefs. GO VOLS!

Edit: just want to add one thing to my statement above...

Proverbs 6:16-17
16 There are six things that the LORD hates, seven that are an abomination to him:
17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,

Heaven forbid that an overweight person try to do something about it by being active. Maybe during her rehab you can steal her crutches.

Not the point of what I was saying but ok. She's literally a "Fat Acceptance" supporter who made a claim that being her weight had no effect on her abilities or health. Now, if she said "I'm doing what I love to improve my overall health" instead of "I'm fat. So what. Deal with it." I'd consider her a better role model for young girls. Wouldn't you?

No, I don't think at all majority of abortions are due to rape. That's ridiculous. But you did prove my point by supporting a woman that was raped to have that baby. Sorry man, but that bible thumping message plays no game in a woman's decision to the hell she just went through. It's her choice and no court, person, bible or any other religion should ever make a decision for her. And that's just for a rape case. Now, you talked about the choice of having consensual sex. And oops she's pregnant. The guy wants nothing to do with it. It's her choice to keep it or abort it. Logically thinking what's the best case scenario for me with a child or without. There's a lot a woman has to go through mentally and obviously physically that us men will never understand. Therefore no man should be the deciding factor on what's best choice for her. How often do you here a guy say, yes I want you to have that baby in an accidental situation? Sometimes it works out for the best, but majority not. Ultimately it's still her choice.

And giving it up for adoption is no easy thing. It's a massive roll of the dice if you land with quality parents being adopted. A ton of kids never do and go through the system miserably. Some do, like our new RB commit. But bottom line is I have no problem at all with abortion. The number one pollution in the world for decades now is over population. Also, one other thing. Have you not ever asked yourself why on earth do those people have kids? I see it daily. Always feel horrible for those kids in shi**y situations.

I guess that's it...
