I think Emmitt feels like these arguments about his character are like this:

First to set the scene of this Seinfeld episode gets 25 VFL points

You were all wrong. It's from the episode, "The Soul mate". There is a youtube video of the Jerry and Newman scene, but I don't know how to embed those.

"The Soul Mate" is the 136th episode of the American television sitcom Seinfeld. This was the second episode for the eighth season. It was originally broadcast on the NBC network on September 26, 1996.

Plot

George believes the foundation lawyer thinks he might have killed Susan. Jerry suggests using a method employed by Jerry Lewis to find out. Kramer falls for Jerry's girlfriend and he consults Newman for advice. Elaine's friends insist that she have a baby; she'd rather not, and meets a man who shares her ideals. George leaves a running tape recorder in his briefcase at the next board meeting and leaves the room. He returns to find the briefcase damaged and the tape stopped. Newman gets in the middle of Jerry and Kramer's relationship with Pam; he bribes Jerry in hopes to find out more about his obsession, Elaine.

Meanwhile, Elaine's new boyfriend gets a vasectomy to show her how committed he is to not having children. The guys find out Pam is not interested in having children and they line up for their own vasectomies. George gets to the bottom of what happened to his briefcase and finds out that a fellow employee had lost his balance and fallen on it. Elaine and her new friend go and get his vasectomy reversed and Jerry and Newman leave after Kramer gets his vasectomy.

Try Allen Iverson's spending habits and financial implosion...tons of material. Still hoping for a 30 for 30 on it.

Right now I'm thinking about looking at combine data from 1999-2011 and trying to see what numbers correlated to success.

What about considering success of "equal" talent based on geography or even income/education? Which regions produce the best talent is easy to see, but what about a 3 star from Ohio vs a 3 star from Georgia at the same position? A 4 star Texas QB vs a 4 star Cali QB? A 3 star Memphis kid who went to private school vs a 3 star Memphis kid who went to public school? I think there'd be a lot to find there.

Obviously where they go has a lot to do with success as well, but I'd wager with the amazing numbers of kids that play on all levels it'd be easy to get a lot of very similar comparisons.

Father/Daughter date night with my youngest ended with us jettisoning her poop filled underpants in the trash can of the gymnastics gym bathroom and heading home for a bath and a movie. She was very sad but movie time with Dad is pretty special too so all's well that ends well.
