Just don't stay up and watch the Braves choke away a 10-2 lead, and on top of that, throw your former teammate a fastball right down the gut, so he can pounce on it. Smh! Glad I went to bed.

Yeah. We got rid of our closer to shed the most expensive player. (BJ upton). The next most highly paid player (uggla) shot one over the fence against the next best closer to beat us. Crappy night to be a Brave.

Why in the world do you throw a fastball to a guy, who could not hit the broadside of a barn with any other pitch the past two years? The only way he does anything worth noting with the breaking pitch is if you hang it. Stupid! Uggla continues to be a Brave killer, whether it's playing with us or against us. Maybe that shows just how stupid we are, when we pitch to him.

Grilli has that feeling that he can overpower anyone. However, he only throws about 92-94 mph. Uggla sits on the fast ball. Thats been well documented. Just a costly mistake.

Blown saves are going to happen. The bullpen was a strength at the start of the season, recently its been dreadful. And thats due in large part, to the fact that most of our starters haved maxed out at 5-6 innings of work.

SN: how about Pierzynski? 11 game hitting streak going. Freddie is starting to really come on. Really hoping Maybin can take this CF job and run with it. Need him or Simba to bat leadoff so we can put Markakis in the 2 hole.

AJ is smoking hot, as is Freddie. At least we aren't leading the majors in Ks anymore...lol! My wife got us tix for the game on Sunday afternoon against the Reds. I think Julio will be in action...hope he is better than his last couple starts.

It's supposed to be Julio and Cueto. Should be a great game! Hope you get to see a no-hitter pitched by a Tehran that's back into his usual form. He's flirted with them into the 7th a couple of times. When he's good, he's tough to hit!

I'm going to Cali in May to see them in LA, then driving up the coast highway to see them again in San Fran. Planned it as I was recovering from nearly a year's worth of surgeries and other medical BS. So happy to be healthy again so I can do fun stuff like this!
