Scout's take: ESPN 100 SG Keith Stone to Florida Gators - ESPN

Great move by Florida. Should really help attract recruits.

I don't think he'll get the chance. We have had an extremely large amount of turnover. McRae who did it all for us, is gone. Our 2 rebounding machines, Stokes and Maymon, are gone.

We are going to take our lumps this year. I really like Tyndall. But this is a tough task.

I am cautiously excited. I think we are much like football in that we have some talent, but we are inexperienced except for Richardson. PG will be a problem much like QB, and our inside game is inexperienced much like our OL. But in basketball, if a player or two get hot, then you can steal some games. You can also mask weaknesses a little easier. I think we are more athletic than last year's team, and it will be interesting to see how well they play.

The fact that Tyndall doesn't have any experienced offensive tackles will really handicap this team ... Oh wrong sport :)

Pretty much where I'm at.

I could see ways where this team goes .500ish but I still enjoy the hell out of the season.

I know that's blasphemy to some of the "DEMAND RESULTS, WE'RE TENNESSEE BY GOD" crowd, but I think it's a decent expectation for what's there.

I think it's going to be much more fun to watch than Cuonzoball too. I'm really excited about it even though I doubt we'll be going to the elite eight this year. I think that is also what is fun about it. I can't be disappointed because I don't expect much with all the turnover, change in coaching philosophy, and extremely short recruiting window for the new staff.

Need some help again. Looking to have some BBQ today. Trying to decide between Archer's or Dead End. Archer's is appealing because it is closer, but Dead End has burnt ends. Tried to go to Calhoun's yesterday and was completely ignored by staff. Anyone have other suggestions?

FWIW, Rob Lewis of VQ said yesterday morning, he was hearing VT and UCONN for Chris Clarke. But more UCONN than anything. Said UT had pretty much lost traction.

Well late last night he posted an update. Now he's hearing UT has asserted themselves right back into the mix. And is a major player here.

He announces at 2:50 pm today. Rob said with so many changes in the last 48 hours, he's led to believe there are some members in Clarke's camp who have differences on where he should end up. Could be some last minute drama.

Nonetheless, this is a HUGE target for Tyndall.

Chris Clarke

Boy, that centerfielder for the Giants almost put himself in the conversation with Bill Bucker. If that run had scored and the Royals ended up winning...

Alas, as a Dodgers fan I'll just have to suck it up and endure the Giants run of sucess :(
