I don't like either team from the NL, so I'm hoping the Royals or Orioles win it. I think a royals cards World Series would be fun geographically.

I actually said to the wife last night, "I wish these two teams could play each other for the World Series." As a baseball fan, I have lots of respect for both the NL organizations. As a Braves fan, I'm really effin sick of seeing those be the only two NL teams in the damned World Series all the effin time!

Yep. As a cubs fan I don't like the cardinals at all. And I still have residual hate for the giants from the Barry bonds days. One of my least favorite players ever, in any sport.

Was one of my favorite players of all time until his first year with the giants. Reportedly, that also happened to be when he started the roids. I stopped liking him for another reason that year, but it's kind of odd looking back how much I hated him right as he started taking roids.

Bonds seemed legit until the McGwire/Sosa Roid Rage Home Run Derby year ... Then his head doubled in size and he started hitting homers at twice his career pace...in his mid 30s... If he used any when he started in San Fran, it was probably to recover from injuries...he was an a-hole in Pittsburgh and Arizona State...just what he was.

I like bochy, but best in baseball? I guess destiny is my thing. I see KC taking it. Speed kills.

IMO Bochy gets more from less than anybody in the game. That's the test in my book, but to each his own. Never been a Giants fan at any point in my life.

Hard to argue against KC. They just don't care what they are up against and when they are down they become more dangerous.

The call at first in that Royals/Cards series was ridiculous. It still is today. Could be destiny that those two square off again.

Soft spot in my heart for KC from past experiences.

I don't think he's bad, but I have to argue with you just a little bit. He's got one of the best rotations (peavy, Hudson, linceceum, bumgartner, and Cain, everyone of these guys has been a rotation's ace) and bullpens in baseball. Buster posey, hunter pence, Pablo Sandoval, angel pagan, etc., are in the lineup and team payroll is consistently in the top 10 (sometimes top 5).
How is that 'less?' Like I said, he's good. He does more than many coaches, look at giarardi in NY, who's definitely doing less with more. But you can't say he's got 'less.'

They're awesome. You'll have a blast. Honestly my second favorite sports venue to go to behind Neyland.

Been to Fenway, Fedex forum, etc.

I've heard a bunch of people say something similar. I'll be at the Blackhawks game. I don't follow hockey that closely, but I know they're usually good.

NHL is just fun to watch in person. It's a bunch of fanatical fans that get rowdy and loud. The games move quick and have lots of violent action. If you don't really know rules/strategy, it doesn't translate as well to TV, but in person it's fun! If you ever get a chance to sit on the glass, DO IT! I got free tickets there one time, and it was the most fun game I've been to. And it was one overmatched team playing a good, non-divisional team on a Wednesday night. There was no reason for that game to even be fun to watch and it was like an NFL playoff game. It was a great spectator experience.
