Technically speaking neither of you are correct. The proper term is Police person. Its neither gender specific anymore.

I thought the correct term was cop (or cops).

I have a friend that was called to a local county court as a witness and in an exchange between him and the judge he spoke to him and called him "judge" instead of "your Honor". The judge corrected him and said to use "your Honor" and my friend told the judge that he didn't consider any elected official to be "honorable" and that he would call him "judge". The judge told him that was O.K. if he really believed that.

Just FYI the wisdom teeth surgery wasn't that bad.

I stayed numb for about 12 hours after surgery yesterday which I think helped quite a bit. Hardly any swelling at all & I'm staying on top of taking my meds. So far so good.

Steve Wiltfong of 247 just flipped his CB from UF to tOSU for Jerome Baker.

Some BasketVol recruiting news....

Tyndall took a walk-on couple months ago, Braxton Bonds, this kid is tight with Braxton Blackwell. Big time 2016 instate talent. Rivals top 40 player.

Chris Clarke moved up his OV from the Bama game to the UT game. He's a Rivals top 60 player. Will make decision soon.

Skal Labissiere, Center, (6'11), kid is #4 nationally. He's a 2015 guy. Instate guy. He's visiting this weekend. His 2nd visit in less than a month. The main 4 teams here are: UNC, UK, UT, and Memphis. No order.

Tyndall doing work.

Roll Call time....

Whose gonna be at the game tomorrow? What section? And what color have you been assigned?

I'll for sure be there. Z11... And Orange.

Go Vols.

Heard on sports radio that Atlanta was going to keep Fredi Gonzalez as Braves manager. They are also replacing the hitting and assistant hitting coaches. They'll be keeping Roger McDowell the pitching coach. I like McDowell and I wanted rid of the hitting coaches. I think Fredi is a good manager but he had problems this past season. Hopefully the new GM whoever it is will get the Braves some hitters. I think (hope?) that the pitching staff will be back to being one of the best with the injured guys coming back.

They need to burn it down like Sherman and replace the main infrastructure with St Louis Cardinals personnel...scouting's fine...everything else is a mess.

Sitting here watching the Giants (who I don't particularly like) and the Nationals (who I hate except for Adam LaRoche) play because nothing else is on. I'll pull for the Giants because the Washington Nationals is too much like D.C. Do wish that Adam would clean himself up some though. Doesn't he still live in Atlanta?
Butchna, could we get Sherman to raid St. Louis?

He's racist...doesn't like Clydesdales.

I hate the nats. It's such a classless organization. Harper hit his tying HR and then started yelling 'eat it' to the giants on the field. The whole organization is like that (except laroche) I hope they lose tonight. I hate seeing the damned cards and giants in the nlcs every year, but at least they are class act organizations.

Harper gets to "eat it"! Glad to see that bunch go down.
If San Fran beats St. Louis maybe the Cards management gets upset and makes a 10 player trade with the Braves so we can get their best players! We can only hope.

Yo Braves fans, lay off this "lets raid the Cardinals front office" business. Signed Cardinals fans.

It won't happen anyway. They have the same strengths we had (and it seems we're getting back based on the hiring we've been doing this week). Additionally, the cards have been great at player development. They get a terrific defensive catcher, they develop him into a hitter with no defensive comparison. We get bethancourt. He's an ok hitter and a better than average though not great defender. We need to get better at development, especially hitting and base running in the minors. We propel young talent up, they can't hit. Freeman's a decent hitter, but he could be great, heyward, Simmons, all could add .2o-.30 to their BA and would be great all around players. That's what the cards have that we don't. Teaching their players to bat: See pitches, go deeper into counts, strike out less, make more contact. We need to be doing a better job of that from low-a all the way up.
