Pretty much the same boat I'm in. We've been dating for over a year (known each other for many more), and it's clear to me we love each other. She was actually the first one to jokingly bring it up just a couple weeks ago and I tried to play it off. I'm still in school and she is too, but my heart says yes. I think I'll talk to her parents in a little bit about it. Scary but exciting times for me. Hope it all goes well.

Best of luck to you vol knight.

Best of luck to you as well, bro. :hi:

Justin was good but, he couldn't touch Peerless Price or Pickens.
Really? Just because we won the NC with Peerless, it doesn't = better WR. Had Hunter not suffered the knee injury in 2011, we would have had a big year, and he would have had amazing stats for his college career. He didn't leave a year early for nothing. He was widely projected as mid-1st Rd prospect, despite some of the question marks about his game.

Hunter will be an impact player this year, for the Titans, so your statement is indeed as stupid as it sounds.

Sorry to interrupt the marriage discussion, headed to asheville tomorrow for the first time in years. Looking for a good place to eat with good local beers. Someone help me out.

I would say Burgermeister, but it appears they closed a while back. So I'm afraid I don't really have much to contribute to this topic, Masta Wayne. But enjoy it. Asheville is beautiful. A real heady joint, if you will.

I love how folk always be talking about CP84:

If he ever figures it out...
If he ever learns how to play WR
If he ever learns how to run routes
If he.......

My man doin' jus fine.

He could be a top WR 1st ballot HOF level of good if he learned that stuff.

No mention of Larry Seivers in all this vol wr great talk. He was THE definition of unstoppable in his era. Stanley Morgan was the man too. There's a lot of greats on our list to be heaping that kind of praise on hunter so freely.

This is where we went for lunch! Was awesome! I've been walking around to different places trying local brews while the lady friend shops.

Currently people watching in the bier garden. Lots of characters here.

Price did more for this University than Hunter did. Makes him a better player IMO.

Winning a NC with Peerless didn't make him a better wr, being a better wr made him a better wr.

Peerless is hands down better than JH as a college WR. Can't believe we are actually debating this. If Darick had not been kicked off JH would have been third best on the 2012 team alone.

Always resorting to calling someone's opinion stupid because it's different than yours. How predictable.

Price is 3rd on UT's all time leading receivers list behind only Nash and Kent.

Hunter is 7th. Sure, he would've had more if he didn't go down in 2011 but it is what it is.

Considering the situation, Price's legendary game vs FSU in the Fiesta Bowl is probably the greatest WR performance in UT history imo. Dude was straight CLUTCH and we don't bring home that National Championship without him.

Hunter is the better athlete. Being the better athlete does not equate to being the better WR. Price was simply a better football player. It's like how Jerry Rice is a better football player than Randy Moss, even though Moss was ultra-talented and much more athletic. Sorry you've got to have toughness, heart, ability to perform in the clutch, and excel at all facets of the game to be the more complete receiver. J. Hunter wasn't ever very tough, pre- or post-injury.

For the record, I believe the greatest UT WR debate should be between Joey Kent, Pickens, and Price. Kent was basically Peyton's college version of Marvin Harrison, and M. Nash was his Reggie Wayne. People always chalk those two guys as being made by Peyton, but I think they have forgotten just how good those guys were. Hopefully we'll be able to add a few of these upcoming WRs to these types of discussions in a few years.

this freakin guy. no chance of having a big year because dooley was the HC.

Tee did more for Tennessee than Peyton.

Price is awesome. So is Hunter. Idk who is better. I do know Price played on a better team.

Don't agree. Peyton is still helping the vols, monetarily, and with his presence on campus. Most people have forgotten who Tee Martin is, but anyone who follows football will never forget who Peyton is, or where he played college ball.
