I don't disagree. I'm just saying that lumping SNAP in with SS and Medicare & Health as making up half of the budget is like saying Peyton Manning, Drew Brees and Tyler Bray threw for more than 10,000 yards combined last season, when you can also just say Peyton Manning and Drew Brees threw for more than 10,000 yards combined last season.

True, and great analogy with the quarterbacks. Poster above is right about military too. We should make countries like South Korea pay the bill for our military being there and if they don't want to well, pack our crap up come home. North Korea would be drooling from the mouth watching us leave.

We need more. The Navy has been cut to it's lowest levels since pre WWII. This chart may be a couple years old, but it does demonstrate that defense is not driving our spending. I would say "budget" instead of "spending", but contrary to the law and tradition there hasn't been an official budget passed in years. :yes:

My God...really? I'm not on any kind of assistance, but I definitely think some need to get off their high horse and get over themselves. When you are barely scraping by it's REALLY freaking easy to just cut back isn't it? Some can't afford to simply pick up and move. What about all the people who do have 2-3 jobs and still need a little help? Get over yourselves.

Edit: Yes some definitely abuse it and changes do be to be made, but you can't just flat out cut everyone off. Drug testing, requiring people to be searching for jobs, etc. need to be implemented.

Drew Richmond is a really highly regarded prospect who is really considering playing for the University of Tennessee, which is pretty great. Also, your conversations outside of this are boring and starting to sound like forwarded emails from my great uncle

Basically to sum it all up Richmond is coming to Tennessee and we will never have to hear people from trailer parks on government assistance talk trash about how Alabama beat us. Mainly because Richmond is going to beat Alabama every year he is here.
