Only if you mean the folks that paid into it for 40+ years are entitled to get what they were promised back out of it! Don't fall for the smoke screen of lumping social security in with safety net programs. Social security is a government run retirement program to which the government continues to attach other programs like disability.

75% of people could come off Gov. assistance if they could identify needs vs. wants. Example: cable television and smart phones are not needs and no one should be entitled to either. So if you are watching cable tv and looking at this on your smart phone you should not be stealing taxpayers money. (Steaks, chips, cookies, sodas, candy, seafood) all wants. Living on a budget wouldn't hurt either.

Back to Richmond Tennessee Needs him everybody else just wants LOL. In the end I believe he will be in orange and owning some Bama defensive linemen.

Not to mention defense. We spend more on defense than the next 8 countries combined! We have NINETEEN commissioned air craft carriers in service. The second most is France with four!

It is not about how much money it takes from the budget. It is about people dragging down the system when they could be making it stronger by becoming productive citizens.Citizens working paying into SS and Medicare increasing funds in those programs. Programs that actually help people who need it like the elderly and disabled.
