Random. But I'll play along. How could time be circular unless you are referring to the closed universe theory.
Last time I checked the expansion of the universe was speeding up and therefore gravity is not strong enough to cause another Big Bang.
Therefor no circle. Just a slow and cold heat death for this universe.
There are plenty of circular cycles in life. Like our lifespan. The ole saying goes you start in diapers and end in diapers. Our year and months also repeat themselves like circles.
I think time is actually both circular and linear.
