Give me more tv series! I don't have cable(darn grad school) so i binge watch like crazy. This semester I watched Breaking Bad, House, Mad Men, the wire, GoT, entourage, and lie to me.

Homeland is pretty good through a few episodes of me trying to catch up.

Also, Californication is awesome.

All the TV talk reminded me of something.

Am I the only one annoyed by people freaking out about the SEC Network? Calling up their satellite/cable company, threatening some customer service gremlin, griping to random reps in retail stores, on and on and on...

Just stop.

It will be there. Maybe not right now, but it will be there. Guess what, you might even, GASP, miss that women's soccer game they're broadcasting as their debut, but it will be on by the first Thursday.

Wow! Donnie killing it in Ktown and CM doing, well, just about nothing out at Cal.

Yep. I was never on the CCM train. A few months after he was hired I knew he wouldn't stick around long. But I'm starting to think CDT is the right guy for the job. I am excited about watching some games this season.

I have to disagree. I have dish, so it's not ever been an issue for me. However if I were not in that fine situation, I would be pissed and making my feelings known. Dish had some disputes with the pricing of fox sports and I nearly missed a few Braves games. I let them knew that dropping that channel pissed me off. Did it fix it? Yes and no. The channel came back. I know it wasn't just my voice that made it happen.

The fact is, business is not going to change its ways unless they realize a big loss in market share is coming. Letting that opinion be known, and taking your dollars elsewhere (if it comes to that) is how you affect change.

If it is something I'm willing to leave over, I want to let them know and give them a chance to fix it. If they don't, I leave and they know why.

He's a journalist, but he used the wrong than/then.

Damn. No wonder our kids aren't learning engrish.

This times 1000! I'm not saying he or any other journalist don't know when they get stuff wrong. Maybe it's just a keystroke error. But with all journalism online, on message boards, and on twitter. The act of proofreading has completely disappeared from the world and it drives me frickin' insane!

One of my supervisors back in parts at the dealership I work at is sure that this is correct English: "These tires does not have hazard warranty."

He even tried to make me change it when I put it in right

Im upset about it. A lot of our games will be broadcast on the SEC network. Dish is the only provider around me that will carry it, but people in my area hate dish and lose service when it rains. I'm likely not going to be able to watch most of our games

I'm not in your area, but I love Dish Network. It's cheaper, gives you more channels, and you can record more things. The service outage issue is overblown in my eyes. It has to be seriously storming to lose service at my house.

I agree that it has to be a really big downpour to lose service.

It's both your right as a consumer, and your obligation as a customer. Businesses want to know about their customer happiness. If they don't, they'll lose market share.

It really has to do with how strong the signal is at installation. It works fine down to 30-40% signal strength. If you're starting at 90-100% it really requires some miserable weather. When mine got installed the installer was a moron and said he was done. It worked and I signed off on it (who's the moron now). It went out all the time. Then one sunny clear day I checked my signal strength and it was 43. I got on a ladder, fixed it 96%. No problems since. Some lazy installers don't want to take the time to do it right and it hurts the perception.

Granted, I get the worrying from people in areas that aren't huge SEC markets.

And I understand, expressing thoughts to a carrier. I guess I was mainly distracted by the FF freakout over a lot of it. People hounding the wrong people. People switching back in March over it. That sort of thing.

Comcast and Direct know damn well it would be disastrous to not pick it up in SEC markets.

Pops likely won't return to the hoops team. That means we have two schollies and one seemingly lock with Owens OVing this week. Donnie said he might keep one, but I'm sure he's still looking to fill it if he finds the right guy
