It was in my local paper today. I was shocked when I read it. The only way crime will ever go down in bad areas is if people start shooting back.

Sorry that I don't have a link.

I have to agree. Of course if it happened here, the cartels would sue in civil court.

Really enjoying my Cubs putting one on the Cards tonight. I don't get to enjoy these often enough :)

Any time your Cubs want to do that my Reds will certainly appreciate it.

On the Cubbies Curse - blame Dusty for its continuance. That's what we Reds fans do. :)

Seriously, to some extent it is still the players, but, impacted by their farm system. I saw Castro, Lake, Castillo, Colvin, Fuld, and many others that have come and gone when they played here with the Smokies. They were clearly talented, but also clearly had some areas of concern that were not addressed well on the farm before they were pushed up to the bigs to try to put tails in seats at Wrigley. Much too soon for most of them because not only did they have some skills that needed more work, they also needed much more work between the ears. Castro probably more so than most. He could look like a HOF'er one minute and look like a bad Little Leaguer the next, while at the same time not giving a flip how it all turned out.

Truth.

There are more good people than bad. Arm the good people and give them the authority to defend themselves and their families. The bad people that for some reason usually prefer to go after low hanging fruit (lol), tend to find somewhere else to do their crap. Like Chicago.

Had one of the youngest opening day line ups, with two major prospects set to debut this year and two more next year. Epstein is working he just didn't have the same base talent to work with he did in Boston.

The cubbies winning wiped away all the pain of Gentry to Texas and then some!

Yep...I'm hoping Epstein is given the time he needs. Cubbies were in a vastly different situation than what the BoSox were in.

And after taking some frustrations out on the Cards last night I was like Zach who? :)

Have you guys heard about the Mexican vigilantes that are going after the cartels? It's great news as the Mexican government doesn't do crap!

Cannot remember the name of the town, but a doctor and his friends are upstanding regular job-type citizens by day, vigilantes by night. They crime rate for robbery, muggings, rape and drug deals is now non-existent in that town. Murder rate has dramatically increased, but that is attributed to the vigilantes cleaning up. Only the criminals are dying there.

Inspiring story :hi:

Yes it is. It reminds me of the Charles Bronson movies. I wish normal people can do this. Cops don't do crap here. I don't know if its the same in other states.

If your Cubs had ever played the rest of your opponents as well as you play the Cards, you may have won the title once or twice within the last hundred years. :)

Thanks for the info, man. Yeah I'm still looking. Got a few interviews set up but I will definitely take your advice. I'm hoping to have something soon. The things I have set up now are through old connections from my UT days so networking and keeping in touch is a definite must for all you kids out there...it definitely works :)

hopefully it does help man - i can tell from your posts that you are a long way from stupid and I hate that so many bright, qualified young people are caught in this job market over the last few years

you will find something soon

Makes me love my politicians so much. :). I'd love to see them all hang by their necks.

I've only watched the first one because I'm afraid the others won't be able to live up. The first one is epic.

The second one was good too. It's a very solid sequel imo. None would ever be able to completely live up to that first one though.
