I was wondering if you would show up, sir. Haha.
Can you tell my why you labeled Cruz as "lying"?
Also, the ones in his own party hate him because he calls them out and stands against them because they are weak and don't live up to their promises they campaigned on.
People want something different. Someone who will actually do what the say. Cruz has proven himself. Even when it's unpopular.
Now if your beliefs don't line up with his that's one thing, of course. It's your choice and your vote. But calling him names and a liar? Seems inappropriate
Hilary is just as bad at lying. Extremely wishy-washy and flips on subjects too often to try to gain votes.
She's no good for any type of change. She's the closest candidate to keep the norm in DC, but that's not what people are going for now.
I know Cruz is your savior candidate because of your religious beliefs. But beyond his religion spouting is just a bunch of mess . I've read enough and heard enough about him to believe how incredibly bad he'd be as president. I can call him names and say whatever I want about him. I don't care if that bothers you.
And you're proving my point that he's hated so much because of the way he believes. That's why he's one of those four that won't be able to get anything done in DC. That was the point. How can any of those candidates actually accomplish anything if elected.
Anyways, switching topics....
Has anyone eaten at The Pharmacy in Nashville?
The wife and I are thinking about going there tonight on our kid-free valentines day date. Yeah, it's not the typical nice dinner setting. But we are cool like that. Hahaha

Wow, my friend, I don't know what I have done to offend you or why you are being so hostile. Take it down a notch, sir. Haha. Lighten up. We have differing opinions. It happens. If we're gonna have an open discussion, let's please be civil about it. We are both fellow humans, fellow citizens and fellow vol fans. Let's treat each other like it, please
And actually it's NOT just his religious beliefs that I like about Cruz. I don't think there is a single issue i disagree with him on, myself. Before you lash out at me, haha, I said "myself". I know you and others disagree. And it's America; you are allowed to do so.
Cruz:
Low, flat tax? Good
Strong military? Good
Border security and enforcing immigration laws? Good
Small, limited govt? Good
American-produced energy? Good
Killing obamacare? Good
Conservative judges who will actually go by the constitution? Good
Taking down the EPA and the DOE and the IRS? Good
Protecting gun owners? Good
Protecting right of conscience for religious people instead of government trying to force them to violate their beliefs? Good
Well, I gather you didn't like my request to keep it civil. I'm sorry you feel you need to be hostile about it. I'm not gonna respond in a similar manner to you. You are a person with a soul and so you matter to God, and therefore you matter to me...
There's a lot you put out there(much of it untrue and/or misguided IMO). Not sure I could even respond to it all, and not sure it would even matter. Usually these discussions are fruitless. People usually aren't going to change their minds. But I will hit on a couple things you said...
Religious protection....the Supreme Court decided the American legal stance on gay marriage issue last year. I don't agree with it morally. But I'm not even discussing that aspect of it here. I'm talking about the right of conscience. The gay lobby got the marriage they were pushing for. Why can't they be satisfied with that? Why do they feel like they have to force those who don't want to participate in the ceremony into participating? The religious community view marriage as a religious ceremony/creation/ institution of God. So don't force them to participate In it. Per the Supreme Court they can get married. Just leave us out of it. They wanted religious people out of their bedroom. But now they want us IN their marriage? Doesn't seem consistent or fair. And like with the bakery thing, it wasn't about discrimination against the individual, as the bakery had served those people at other times, regardless
of their orientation. It was about the marriage ceremony - a religious thing. Don't force them to violate their religion. Doesn't get more American than religious freedom. That's what drove the pilgrims here
On the global warming, you're absolutely right I don't buy it. There is no real evidence of it. If there is please show it to me. It's just scientists' models and conjecture. Whereas I actually have real evidence to back up my claim that it's a hoax. The satellite data proves it's a hoax. And I would argue that Cruz is the one that got the better of the science community in the hearings that I saw. Not the other way around that you were claiming.
Flat tax.
I can't remember all the details but i think the first 50k or something like that is tax exempt. So it actually wouldn't hurt the poor at all.
But a flat 10% tax is the most fair way to do it. And for many if not most middle class tax payers, 10% tax would actually be a tax CUT. So I'm not sure how it would hurt them??
Energy/oil
You say Cruz is in their back pocket. Please provide proof of this or where you got this from?
Anyways, I have stuff to do today. I hope you have a blessed day, sir. As I said, I would like an open, friendly discussion. Please stop the name-calling and derision and such tactics. Thanks, man.

This could go on and on and on and I will not belabor it. There was enough scientific information released today to call into the question the supposed absolute truth of light year calculations, which sort of messes in all of spacial science's nest. So I am just going to place this right here and be done with it for now. Romans 1:20. Look it up unless you are afraid of reading the Bible. Mankind spends way too much time attempting to disprove Moses instead of celebrating the knowledge provided of a loving Creator that cared enough to give us all we could ever want while saving us from our evil ways. He has this. We need to pay attention. But it is ultimately a personal choice, which is the way he wants it. My prayer is for all to understand and accept that truth.

On the quoted part, you are dead wrong. Empirical evidence proves that the earth is indeed warming. What's at question is the cause.
Flat tax- would be a devasting blow to the poor and middle class finances, would leave a 3.7 trillion dollar hole in the federal budget in the next 10 years. Would crush the elderly, especially low income elderly.
Strong military- we spend more money on military and have the largest in the world alteady. No concern there.
Border and immigration laws- keep out the Mexicans and Muslims, right? Wasn't Cruz born in Canada? In fact, he was.
Small Govt- nobody will keep the govt from doing what it's doing. It has its claws in everything and can't be stopped.
American produced energy- how about shifting to cleaner energy for what's best to the planet, environment, people, future kids generations, create thousands/millions of new jobs, etc.. Cruz is in the back pocket of the dirty oil industry. Says global warming is not real, I know you believe this, too, because of a satellite that says it isn't. Cruz has gotten a** handed to him by NASA, scientists and citizens that global warming is very real.
Conservative judges that go by the constitution- well isn't Cruz that was born in Canada against the constitution?
Taking down the EPA, DOE and IRS- no way the IRS is going away. Ludicrous thinking. The others, why? Less spending? There could be significant change for those two programs to make them more efficient. But it's deep rooted in politics.
Protecting gun owners- calm down NRA freaks. Nobody is coming to get your guns. Trying to make it harder for criminals or mentally ill people to get guns should be ok by anyone. But hunters and gun range people will not be affected in any way.
Protecting right of conscience for religious people instead of government trying to force them to violate their beliefs- let me guess. The bakery that didn't want to serve wedding cakes at a gay marriage. Or that nut job woman in KY that wouldn't allow gay marriage licenses. It's 2016, gays and lesbians are everywhere. If it bothers your views, then it sucks for you. They're people and what they do is none of your business. Let them live and love like the rest of us. If you don't like it, pray for them to yourself. You want less government, then don't have the government say you can't get married because your gay. Or tell a woman she can't have an abortion because of religious views. That's utter garbage. How much of this issue does it really affect your life and family?
The old conservative ways of Cruz is just like McCarthy from back in the 50's. It doesn't work in today's world. There's too many people and were growing at a rapid pace. The old ways don't work anymore..
After September of this year, the Earth will be entering its 22nd year without statistically significant warming trend, according to satellite-derived temperature data.
Since September 1994, University of Alabama in Huntsvilles satellite temperature data has shown no statistically significant global warming trend. For over 20 years theres been no warming trend apparent in the satellite records and will soon be entering into year 22 with no warming trend apparent in satellite data which examines the lowest few miles of the Earths atmosphere.
Satellite data from the Remote Sensing Systems (RSS) group also shows a prolonged hiatus in global warming. After November of this year, RSS data will be in its 22nd year without warming. Ironically, the so-called hiatus in warming started when then vice President Al Gore and environmental groups touted RSS satellite data as evidence a slight warming trend since 1979
