Best shrimp and grits I ever had was in Savannah on the river front, place called the Boar's Head. The ONLY place that's come close is South Street on 21st Ave. in Nashville...and it was still a far cry.

If yours comes close to South Street's, I'll cook it tomorrow.

My wife would disagree with the confidence comment. She thinks I might have an over confidence problem. She's wrong though. I'm better at being humble than anybody anywhere.

My kids love the chocolate chip pancakes too. :)

I had some shrimp and grits (comes with eggs on top) for brunch at Poogan's Porch in Charleston that were amazing. Went a couple years later, got the same thing and they were meh. Btw, their Bloody Mary's are life giving.

If in Sevier County and you want quality lunch/supper Shrimp and Grits - BullFish in Pigeon Forge. It is different than most. The shrimp are de-tailed and lightly fried like their fish. They do it with good quality lightly creamy grits, use the bacon bits/grease, but add sliced mushrooms, chopped bell peppers and green onions, with spinach.
