What does an ideal presidential candidate look like to you?

You may not call yourself a Democrat, but you sure sound like one. Here's a test: If you think the tea party is an ignorant, racist group but think anyone in the Democrat party right now is centered, you're a Democrat.
Conservatism is not "far out there" It's what used to be called normal and common sense. What's wrong with the Republican party now is that they've gone too far left following the Democrat Party.
Today's Democrat Party is an old school, hate traditional America, Marxist party. The leadership consists of people who were raised and taught and mentored by card carrying communists. Being half Marxist and half traditional America hating is not being "center" or moderate. Trying to pander to the "center" lost the Republicans the last two elections. Mitt Romney won the vote amongst the coveted "independents" yet still lost the election because he's a RHINO and Republican voters stayed home. If a real conservative runs we can and will win. If people who call themselves independents who will knowingly never vote Republican anyways influence the Republican party nominee resulting in a Jeb Bush or John Kasich we will most certainly lose. Again.

I don't get what the pyramids have to do with anything about running for President.

Destroying emails and lies about an attack on Benghazi should be a focus instead of pyramids.

Infadelity in one's household another. Can't run a home but going to run a country.

This is jumping way back in conversation, but I felt the need to clarify that I wouldn't vote for Hillary if I was on fire and the voting booth was equipped with a bucket of water that would extinguish me with her vote.

I disagree on your take on Cruz. I think he would dominate, I mean absolutely destroy, hilary in debates. The question would be if enough of the voters would even pay attention or if they would just tune out and remain ignorant on issues and just pull the lever to brag that they voted, and that they voted for hilary Clinton.

Carson does make me nervous in the way he communicates and debates. I agree with him on almost everything. But I just don't think he is clear on getting his points across (maybe he should enlist bruin as his debate prepper. Haha)

Debates have never mattered in the general election, unless someone says something massively stupid.

I am deeply disturbed at how many openly embrace socialism and mock the principles and foundations this country was founded on.

What about all the "socialist" policies FDR enacted? We have had socialist ideas applied to capitalism for over 70 years now. Without it you have fascism.

Yes. That's why we pay the taxes we legally owe. However, we also (for now) have the freedom to say that the way the government is being run is wrong and why it is wrong.

I despise fdr for that reason. People celebrate social security like it's a good thing to get about 1/4 of the return on investment you could get in the private sector. His socialist policies were awful.

And no, you don't have fascism. Is that like the new trendy catch all that's supposed to mean "any form of government that I don't like?"

Fascism involves massive amounts of government power, intervention, and control, which is the opposite of capitalism. Interventionist policies is a foundation of fascist economy.

Yes,and we do..or we're supposed to. But I was under the impression none of us wants the USA to be a evil despotic dictatorship like the Roman Empire. Also that submission only goes so far. We will not deny God, or his word in submission.

Is there a moral difference between social and corporate welfare? In other words if someone has a problem with one of these, should they not also have issues with the other?
