Good call on Thirsty Monk and Wicked Weed...both are a must visit in Asheville. Definitely won't be disappointed.

hookers show is by far the worst on TSR. Dave intentionally tries to press the buttons of the listeners (Vol Fans). He loves to get people riled up. Its a terrible show and he doesn't really know much about whats going on. He loves El Chico's alot though.

The Dave Hooker Show in a nutshell.

5 minutes of commercials
Dave Hooker returns and talks about where he is broadcasting from for 2 minutes.
3 minutes of talking to Andrew or whoever is on the phone.
1 minutes of useless info including his take (which is horrible) on whatever the topic is.
5 minutes of commercials

JayBay is an idiot for replacing Basilio with Hooker. Basilio gets more listeners on his midnight Saturday show than Hooker gets the entire week.

The only time I judge someone for liking a sports talk show is if it's Doc, Jeff, and Heather or the Dave Hooker Show.

I like Treece show but that's all the TSR I can handle. Its not a very well ran station at all. Thank god Steve didn't last long with Treece. Just didnt fit.

Doc Jeff and heather is the absolute worst... I can't count how many times I've heard them butcher recruiting info. Positions and names... Basic stuff.

I have never completely turned off the radio because of a talk show except once and that was when they were on the air. I swear everyone here knows more about UT football than they do.

OK - I am officially jealous now. After your TL suggestion on a red, which I am well stocked on now, I just rationalized it as being for my wife's health benefit. Now you are throwing my first love in my face. It's like having a gourmet Angus burger. Do you really want to have a Big Mac ever again?

FWIW - if you do go red. Willie and Jase have dun good. Duck Commander's Triple Threat will do the trick. Surprisingly good at $13-14.

Not only do they know absolutely nothing about UT football, Mickey Dearstone is such an arrogant douchebag. The fact that he calls himself Doc because his initials are M.D. just tells you how much of a douche he is.

Just re-watched Eric Berry's college highlights, then his pro tape. After seeing how he laid the boom on Knowshon Moreno in college, watching him do it again in the league was hilarious. Knowshon saw him coming and wanted no part of that.

The Bier Garden is another great place. Awesome selection of beers and located in a great part of town on Haywood Street. Another place you can't go wrong with...thanks for reminding me :) Have to make a return visit when I'm down there next month now.

Found my "I fear no beer" shirt from there a couple of weeks ago when cleaning out moving boxes from the attic. Of course, I've had too many beers and whiskey that it no longer fits!!!!

Leave the Rays alone. I actually enjoy games at the Trop. The Ted Williams museum is incredible.Plus free parking at wife's employer across the street is a plus.
