So I'm not allowed to chime in and give my opinion with how the candidates stack up according to my beliefs? Last I checked, this was the Off-Topic Thread, not the "How do Trump and Clinton Stack Up From a Purely Christian Perspective No Other Faiths Allowed" thread.
Holy books come in many shapes and sizes. I'm not attacking anyone else for pulling stuff out of the books they like. It'd be nice if the favor was returned.

So you consider Cthulhu a religion?
I was giving him the benefit of the doubt but after a quick Google search it is my conclusion that he is a jerk and only seeking to derail a possible meaningful discussion. Darth, feel free to hang out in another thread if you don't like this discussion but you are not attempting in any way to add anything meaningful and your obvious disdain for anyone with a faith system is sad.
There was at least a quasi discussion about the election in here where people were discussing the main two candidates and how their actions are telling as to their real beliefs. I believe you are simply making fun of those of us that believe in God and His Son Jesus. If you have a real faith as you are stating that's fine but I think you are pulling stuff out of books you have read and using it to derail the conversation. If you don't want to discuss how the political candidates stack up to a Christian standard comparison that is fine. Don't chime in at all though. It only makes you appear mean and hurtful.
Your dismissal of other beliefs is offensive.
Before you rush to conclusions, do some research on the Necronomicon. It's a real book, compiled by a man named Abdul Alhazred. Just because some have chosen to make fictional stories regarding it doesn't make it any less real.
Case in point, Dan Brown.
Point me to something substantial. I don't mind having a discussion but show me where this isn't just a fiction that you are claiming as a religion to mock Christians and our beliefs. Any search of people or dieties that you have brought up show nothing but fiction.
Why the heck am I still responding about this? I'm out.
