part of pease's whole gameplan is to use motion in the backfield to get guys out of place and snap it before they can get to where they wanna be

I thought he called a great game.

The motion on offense is key to the success. It's a great wrinkle.

I thought the D coordinator and WM also called a great game. THey had some issues early but made some good adjustments.

UF needs to run a lot through Burton - he is a freak. Strange that they didn't hardly use him in the first two games. Maybe that was on purpose.

And Driskel played the game of his career so far. Really impressed.

If UF can continue to play at that level with the adjustments they make on the fly - they have a good shot at the east.

But I still hate them.

Most certainly did and they deserved the win from their play on the field

Question for the recruiting guys? If Dooley is let go, how bad would it hurt recruiting? Also, who would be yalls best bet for the next coach?

Is anyone changing their preseason predictions based off of our loss to Florida? If so, what was your preseason prediction and what is it now?

I had us at 8 or 9. But unless someone in the sec lays down and lets us win in the fourth, or the game is out of reach at halftime, we'll be doing good to get 6 wins. I base this on the expectation that we'll see what we saw all of last year for the rest of the season. Zero progress has been made on the things that really kept us from winning.

I thought we win between 8-10 games. Leaning more toward 8 now, losing darick didn't help.

Anyone who thought we would go undefeated, and this one loss ruins your season, is fickle and frankly crazy.

It's not happening.

Unless you have talked to Dave Hart directly.. How do you know this? Dooley had better win some SEC games outside of *Kentucky, Ole Miss and Vandy or he is out.

*Nullified after the loss in Lexington last year. I want Dooley to right the ship but at the end of the day (the last 2 years) he has the same record as Joker Phillips. To say, in regard to the termination of his incumbency is
"not happening" after week 3 is a complete toss up. He can go one of two ways: win some big games or update the resume. Hopefully it is the former.

Ok, how long does Dooley get? I know he started with nothing but how long is enough time to gauge the direction of the program? Not bashing anyone just wanted to ask people that know more than the average person would and people who are around the program.

With Da'Rick, I was thinking 10-2. Without 8-4. L's to Florida, UGA, USCe, and Bama still

The VOLS will beat USCe, just because they are one dimensional, stop the run including Lattimore and C.Shaw and they don't have anything to turn too. The average height of USCe's receivers is 5'11".

The Vols will go 9-3 if we don't have anymore meltdowns.

Dooley will get another year as long as he goes 7-6 this year.

Depends on if #10 and #55 play consistently all year. I've got to wait to see if any players will be demoted and if we'll be running the ball a lot more.

WOW, the football forum is crazy. I think I will stay off for a few weeks. I may be dead...... wrong but, I think Dooley is the man for the job. I like what he has done in 3 years with our team. Yes his record is bad, 0-18 (ranked). What coach could take LA Tech and our team the last 2 years and win. I think he has came a long way in 3 years. We have some good men coming in next year and may even have a few surprise commits in the end.

Sounds about like what we were all saying last week about UF. Hope you're right.

I haven't seen decent halftime adjustments one time in Dooley's tenure.

I have no confidence in the abilities of our coaching staff. I will reserve judgement on whether he should come back next year on the rest of this season. Anything less than 8 wins and he should be let go immediately.
