I don't think so either. I never said he did. All I have said is that it looks bad because of how bad Dormady has played. butch also made it worse by saying there is a legit QB competition when clearly there wasn't. If Dormady is playing great right now this probably never comes out. I don't agree that Dormady gives us the best chance to win but that doesn't really matter. Dormady is the QB.

Maybe it was just me but from the get-go I thought the offense moved better with Dobbs. I never thought we had a better option in his 4 years here.

One of only 3 QB's in SEC history to have 300 passing and 100 rushing in a single game, first UT QB to do it. Most rushing yards by a UT QB in a single game.

Side note, also won national and SEC honors in his first start that year.

It's pretty clear to me Guarantano isn't ready to play winning SEC football. He hasn't looked nearly as competent as Dobbs did in his first game experience.

Now, the debate should be centered around where or not it's because Butch has not developed him properly.

I'm sitting in my chair with my kids and my dog watching Monday night football. I am relaxed. This is a football forum where we talk about the Tennessee football team. That's all we're doing. I mentioned what Swain said. Someone insinuated Swain was just spreading rumors. That's all this is. The football program is a mess right now. Go listen to that link I posted of Swain's show earlier. That guy is a former player. He knows whats going on in the locker room more than any of us do.

I am thinking that our DL is the key to this game on Saturday. We have to be able to control the LOS when they have the ball and force the game into the freshman QB's hands.

Playing at home and a not so away site against two slower D's is not what he will face Sat with Shoop bringing the house. I honestly think we can slow them down pretty good. The RB's will definitely get theirs but I think we can hold them to 20-24 points.

The offense HAS to possess the football, get first downs, be able to get holes for JK so the passing game isn't all we are able to fall back on. We have to not turn the ball over and capitalize when given chances.

This is not some impossible victory. We actually should win if we win the turnover battle and play sound and more physical football then them.

Now if we are able to do that is a big question.

I think UGA comes out not sluggish per say because I think they want to beat TN bad, but maybe tight now that there is some "pressure" that they are the obvious team to beat in the East.

I am leaning towards this being super close but UGA grinding out a very tough close win but I am going to say Butch's voodoo over UGA continues and we make one big late play that gets us the win.

And add to that prediction that we get smoked Saturday. Not a good time to live in Georgia. I'll have to face the music and get rubbed in that we got hammered. Fun times.
