I didn't really notice him much in coverage (which isn't a bad thing necessarily), but I thought he was really solid against the run for us last week.

I think we're better off throwing the house at him and trying to press him into making mistakes, personally. Franks made a lot of mistakes week one because UM wasn't letting him get settled. But he had some nice throws and a nice scramble or two also (though he did inexplicably fumble on one of them).

I worry that if we sit back and let him build a rythm he might take off. I think he's not quite as bad as UM made him look.


Would be nice if our DL comes alive against a team that passes the ball more, though. If we can get pressure with 4 guys, that's ideal I guess. Not sure if we will be able to or not. I'd like to see Kongbo slide inside on some 3rd down situations and have DT and KP at DE to get some pressure. I think we might get some good pressure against their OL if we do that a bit. Their OTs aren't great but have decent upside. Their OGs and C looked turrible to me. I'm not sure they'll handle a guy like Kongbo rushing from a 3 technique (or a guy like Bituli blitzing) that well.

Can't help myself, Air Force vet here. They make such a big deal out of that damn game. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Air Force continually beats both of them.
