I think living here, at least part time, he's a partial fan in so much as he wants the home team to do well and probably has a lot of friends and acquaintances that he'd rather see enjoying football than depressed.

I can agree with that. I think I remember seeing him also tweet about some Titan games so I would assume the Tennessee home teams have rubbed off on him to some small extent.

Why can't he do both?

Needs to master being a lockdown corner.

You need to expand your binary mind. Someone can want true, accurate info and analysis and opinions of something he lives, even of the truth isn't positive, without "dwelling on negativity." Just because I try to filter out and balance out the overwhelming, unrealistic positive bias on here doesn't mean I want TMZ style coverage.

If the negative info was accessible enough that someone less connected than Hubbs could get it, I think Hubbs deserves to be criticized. Otherwise he's just a Butch mouthpiece.

Everyone needs a mouthpiece. Smart in Jones' part and Hubbs makes money and guys like Brice get new jobs. All this bad reporting style has not hurt Bama.

My biggest concerns: (1) we are razor thin at Defensive end. We have a true freshman in the two deep, and the only non true freshman we have on the roster is Blakely. Wouldn't be surprised to see Austin Smith back at DE soon. (2) OLB - I think Sapp has a lot of upside, but what is his health right now? McDowell was a liability last year. In situations where we have to play a true 4-3 we could really struggle. (3) WR - besides Jennings, it appears no one else is really showing out as a sure fire starter thus far throughout camp. This reminds me of 2015 when we didn't have reliable options and ended up playing musical chairs at WR all season, which hurt the whole group.
