Come to think of it we should be pretty good in 2018 assuming we don't have any JR's leave.

We're in better shape talent wise than most realize. Hell, I'm constantly amused by Georgia fans who think our entire team is gone. A lot of them have cited us "losing our entire team" to the draft/graduation as a reason that they are a shoo-in to win the East this year.

Who are some guys that could be drafted next year?

Not many left from that 14 class that could go I don't think. The 15 class I think will eventually put some guys in the pros. Not sure we have many that will have the chance to go early but you never know when a guy will breakout.

In terms of seniors, I could see TE Ethan Wolf, DT Kendal Vickers, and CB Justin Martin getting drafted.

In terms of underclassmen we could have a bunch if they have big seasons:

RB John Kelly
WR Jauan Jennings
QB Quinten Dormady
LB Darrin Kirkland Jr
DE Jonathan Kongbo

Obviously there could be other underclassmen but I think these four have the physical attributes and talent to be drafted next year.

With the way Butch has recruited, drafts like 2017 will be the norm not 2015 and 2016.

Ohhhhhhhhh. Well I definitely missed that one. I didn't see that yesterday and today I just checked the 4th-7th rounds and never saw his name so I just assumed he never got drafted. Whelp, I don't feel sorry for him now.

All of the ones we thought would go have been drafted. And Vereen is a ufa to New England. Not sure about Croom and Foreman yet.

Agree completely on Kahlil. DW is who I have always expected him to turn out like.

Dan went from just a body at the position to top 20 pick seemingly overnight.

I really hope big Khalil has a breakout season. It's coming I think. Just takes longer to blossom at that position. Gotta get some of that old man strength before you can bull rush SEC OG's.

I think Foreman can do well in the right defense. Just like Justin Coleman.

With his speed he should be able to really do well. I hate dogging on coaching but I feel like Martinez really held the secondary back. After his first year here they just never got any better.

That is what I noticed as well. I'm really enjoying this new secondary coach we have. Players like him, too. He is energetic and the DBs just look better in practice.

I think Gaulden could be a sleeper to leave early. He's athletic, has an attitude, and can play just about any position in the backend. NFL loves versatility.

I think if Tuttle can ever manage to put together an injury free season, we would see him taken fairly high. When healthy he is by far our best tackle.

Agree on Tuttle. He's gonna need a healthy season. He is a guy who will see their stock continue to take a hit if he can't remain healthy for a season. Huge upside for him. If him and Khalil come back for their senior years and both are healthy I think we could do big things.

Gaulden is a good pick for a sleeper.

Wiggins will be in the mix IMO

Good call.

Not sure we have any top pick guys for next year (rounds 1-2) but we could have several mid round guys.

You never know though, sometimes all it takes is the right coaching and mentality to make a huge jump in one year (I'm looking at you Justin Martin)

When he wasn't hurt he dud. You are full of crap on this one Ziti..but hell, just ride that pony bro :)

Moving on. I am high on some guys we still have so I figured that's a better topic.

This forum is full of guys who live in their hopes. I'm one of them. trying to keep it inside the yellow lines now.
