Florida won 10 games the other year and got smashed by Bama. Mediocrity nationally........

When will we beat Alabama and if you don't say in the next two years then we need a coach that can get it done in a 5 year span(Jones has been here 5 years). Can't sit back and just lose to a team year after year. Especially your rival...... We aren't Kentucky in Football this is the Tennessee Volunteers.....

Bro Bama has been beating everyone in the SEC for the past 10 years not just UT where have you been?

There's a small difference when your rival plays for the NC every year.
I want to be there, we agree on that. But let's not act like we're talking about Georgia level.

I don't understand some of you fans. Do you want to win 10 games only or championships? Ten wins should be nothing to us. Beat South Carolina and Vandy last year for 10 wins. I expect those two games to be wins every year. Lowering expectations is for other fanbases......

You can't expect to win 10 a year in the SEC unless you're Bama. To me the goal first and foremost is getting to Atlanta every year. Anything beyond that is gravy.

It's not lowering your expectations. It's realizing that those average schools like sc and vandy are getting better every year and harder to beat...both on the field and on the trail. Trying to compare yourself to saban, the best ever, is a losing game.

Alabama is a less important game than every SECE team on our schedule. The whole "measuring stick" thing is stupid.

Neither of those schools should ever be close to us.......

Have you ever been to SC and seen their facilities and campus? Plus when you have big recent alums like clowney and Ingram it's another thing to point to. It's not by accident they are good at baseball, women's bb, men's bb.

My post-spring depth chart based on how we line up against Tech.

QB: Dormady, Gaurantano
RB: Kelly, Chandler
WR: Jennings, B. Johnson
WR: Byrd, J. Smith
WR: Callaway, Williams
TE: Wolf, J. Johnson
LT: Richmond, Kendrick
LG: Robertson, Boulware
C: Thomas, Robertson
RG: T. Smith, Jones
RT: Hall, Kendrick

DE: Kongbo, Phillips
DT: Vickers, Picou
DT: McKenzie, A. Johnson
DE: Taylor, D. Johnson
MLB: Kirkland, Bituli
WLB: McDowell, Sapp
NB: Gaulden, Abernathy
CB: Martin, Moseley
SS: Kelly, Berry
FS: Warrior, Abernathy
CB: Osborne, Buchanan

KR: Berry, Abernathy
PR: Callaway, J. Smith
P: Daniel
K: Medley

1. OL is so loaded I couldn't find a way to get Jack Jones in the starting 5. I also think we try to get Tatum his redshirt year back. Good problem to have.

2. LB is also a position with a lot of guys who have experience and not many starting spots. I didn't even include guys like A. Smith, Ignont, E. Berry, Jumper.

3. Experienced depth at RB and DL is scary thin. I kept Tuttle off for now but I'm hoping he can get a few snaps Week 2 and be ready to contribute in Gainesville. I think Butler comes in and will contribute by mid-year.

4. Secondary should be much improved with experience returning and Warren at the helm. Landing Wiggins would be huge and he would immediately push for that second starting spot at corner.

Projected redshirts: McBride, Jordan, Tatum, Calbert, Locklear, Brown, Page, Bembry, Fant, Jones, Thaxton, Bailey, Shamburger.

Osborne has struggled at CB all sprint but he keeps getting the most reps with the 1st. So let's just hope I guess.

We shouldn't have lost to THAT FOOTBALL TEAM......

Fair enough but slipping up happens. It happens to every single football team at one point. But to say you're unhappy with a 10 win season, which means you more than likely in Atlanta with a shot to play in the playoff is just silly.
