This is awesome.

"On Wednesday, two fly balls fell for hits in the first three innings of the Rays’ 8-7 victory over the Tigers at Tropicana Field. They happened as second baseman Ian Kinsler ranged back and center fielder JaCoby Jones and right fielder Tyler Collins ran in to get balls that should’ve been outs. Why weren’t they caught?

Because some dude in the stands was yelling “I GOT IT!” and the players thought it was their teammate doing it. "

:eek:lol:

I wonder there is any sport where an individual fan can have as much effect on a game as they can in baseball.

That was one of my favorite plays in little league and when I played rec softball. Nice to see it is still effective and even gone pro! :eek:lol:

That's because there are more players on the field than fans in the stands at the Trop. I love going to their games because parking is FREE for cars containing more than two people. Oh yeah we parked on the first row by the stadium each time. Paid 60 for front row seats basically in the road teams dugout.

Wow. Sounds like they could relocate to outside the city.

Nice start to the day so far. Got a big pot of coffee done, beef short ribs started on the smoker, beer on ice and the UT-UF game from this past year on the TV. Even with the not so great weather, Im ready for some UT spring football. 😎🙌🏻

It took some calling around. Luckily the butcher closest to me was really cool about it and let me know they could cut me whatever I wanted if I gave them notice. Had them cut me a nice 4 bone rack off the plate ribs, 2" thick meat on top. First crack at them, hoping for great results.
