Yes, I was listening while driving. I tuned in at the start of the 3rd quarter. It sounds like that they dominated the entire game. Nared with 30.

Lady vols proved they have the talent but not the consistency. Holly doesn't have them ready to play against bad teams most of the time

Are you sure? I can't remember seeing him and the participation report from PFF doesn't list him as participating. That report is only for defense though. It may have been on special teams, which would suck. Not saying you are wrong because I can imagine seeing him on the field as something that would stick on it your memory.

Wouldn't it be great if they tried to RS him and the NCAA denied it because "LaagerVol on Volnation" said he saw him in a game so we checked it out lol.

Not sure who you saw, but Jones was asked the week after that game specifically about Alexis Johnson's injury status, and Jones said, "He is not anywhere close to helping.”

That's interesting. The participation report I'm talking about is from ProFootballFocus, which is a third party. I don't think they would hide it on purpose. I wonder if someone played with his jersey since he was injured?

I've recently discovered I have the ability shut a thread up for a while. I make a post and the thread goes dead for a while. It's quite a handy trait. :yes:

To be eligible for a medical hardship waiver, a student-athlete has to meet the following criteria:

The student-athlete must suffer the injury during one of their four seasons of college competition or during the senior year of high school.

The injury must be incapacitating. That means it must be a season-ending injury.

The injury must occur prior to the start of the second half of the season.

The student-athlete must not have competed in more than 30% of the season or three contests, whichever is greater.

Check and check. He got injured before Bama I think. And, as long as Laager isn't right with his conspiracy theory, Johnson was unable to play again during the season.

The reason I asked is because he looked pretty good for the couple of plays he was in. Why would I make that up? I want him to RS. I was in the extreme minority because I wanted him to RS before the season even started due to us not signing any HS DTs that year.

Just saying that it's doubtful that it was Johnson you saw, when 4 days after the game, Jones made the statement that Johnson still wasn't ready. It was quoted on multiple sites. If Jones had said that just after a game that Johnson played in, he would have gotten called out for it by someone.

It was Bain. He also played in the Vandy game. Johnson will get a medical redshirt if jones wants him to get it.

You are thinking of the medical hardship I posted earlier, not a redshirt. If you play even one snap it burns a normal redshirt.

Yes! See, that is what I mean. People could come in to that thread to proclaim their hate and disdain for you. They could wish all kinds of ill fate upon you and your family. You could retort in your typical newt fashion (which I personally enjoy) and there could be uncontrolled bedlam.

p.s. I believe I've actually mentioned before that I agree with you on the whole instate thing. Sure it's great to get the best in state guys, but if you can get someone better from somewhere else. You get them.
