I don't see the Calvin resemblance but I do think he takes after a certain coach that is beloved by VN..... Dare I say it..... soon?
Old Man: "What is best in life?"
Bruin the Contrarian: "To destroy any good vibes on VN, to be opposed to every viewpoint, and to troll continuously so that none may find enjoyment."
Old Man: "You are truly the worst."
Hubbs on 104.5 giving Wells all the credit for developing Drew Richmond. Says he really responded to how hard Wells pushes his guys.
Problem is is Hubbs is pushing the narrative that Wells was coaching illegally this past season.

Last section, left column, last bullet point.
There's no reason to sweat this. Pushing his guys hard is, IMO, easily within the 'words of encouragement' clause that the rules allow. If Hubbs is talking about how Wells was breaking down drills and technique with the OL then that's one thing, but there's absolutely no rule broken for encouragement.
Non-issue.
Just saw mcshay has Kamara going first round, no 29 to Green Bay! Amazes me he played second fiddle to Hurd!! Smh!
I won't sit her and act like Hurd wasn't a good RB, he was. The problem is, he wasn't as good as Kamara nor was his skill set suited as well as AK's for this offense.
Hurd would have been a more than ideal fit at Bama and their offense. He's a downhill runner with breakaway speed once he gets to the second level but he doesn't hit the hole fast enough, with an average OL such as ours, to make the impact that Kamara did.
Kamara is Warrick Dunn, Hurd is Eddie George (minus the leadership)...both great but very different RB's.

So if king is doing all of these things why not just overpay and keep him because his stuff has been legit.
I've been curious of this as well.
Also, there's more than one graphics designer out there. People acting like this guy is gonna keep us from a championship or something.
What about the girl who paints the rock? Surely she wouldn't jump ship given her ties.
(Idk if she's "qualified" but she damn sure seems like she has a great talent)
She is definitely good at painting the rock. With that said though, the difference between them is vast.
Under King's direction, UT has been top 3-- arguably best-- when it comes to its graphical vision. Not just anyone can fulfill that role; Nick Saban personally recruited him to Alabama for a reason.
UT will be fine, but we most likely won't be in that top 3 argument anymore.

For the record I am very fired up about Wells and dang glad he is our OL coach.
I just think some things are left better behind closed doors and sharing his illegal coaching involvement last season fits that.
