What exactly is the basis for this narrative? It keeps getting repeated, but I know of no specific supporting evidence. In fact, I could argue that Butch not meddling was the reason why WR performance was so bad, and when he got involved, the WR play improved considerably.

Is the easiest one for people to accept. They don't want to believe that we could have lost games due to a combination of coaches decisions, players mistakes, other teams out playing us or the ball bouncing weird. Finding a single scapegoat is just an easy, if somewhat lazy, way to deal.

Turner and Bone both laid eggs tonight. Offense had no energy. Was hard to watch. NCAA appearance on the line, and our guys trot around the court. Glad that we have exceeded expectations for the season, but hate to see us drop a game for very apparent lack of effort.

Not in basketball. They work in multiple conferences. They try to work as many nights as they can and not just stick to the two main games in a conference each week. Teddy Valentine works Big 10, SEC and other conferences.
