Haven't seen this discussed...does JJ have to sit out the 1st half next week, since he got 2 unsportsmanlike penalties yesterday and therefore ejected in 4th quarter?

I'd imagine he would return unless he just wants to leave. Not sure his draft stock is very high at this point.

It wasn't the message. It was the frequency. Everyone was well aware of your opinion after the first few times. My preseason opinion of DTs was that we were fine if Shy came back somewhat close to pre-injury form and we stayed fairly healthy.

Our dropoff after our top three DTs (potentially 4 depending on where AJ might have fit in if he hadn't had nagging injuries all year) is probably a little worse than some, but there aren't many rosters that would be able to sustain the injuries were have and still field a viable defense.

He didn't get a second penalty and wasn't ejected. They called that bogus penalty on Boulware..."#72"...even tho he's #50.

Wish Butch would quit with the robot coach speak spouting off cliches .... People would be more endearing towards him if he would just for once talk like a human being. Watched a little of his show today and sounded like a giant sound bite, even when he was talking about his players... just have some genuine emotion and be real for once and folks would probably gravitate towards him a little more... maybe at least give him a break once in a while.

As long as he keeps UT football on an upward trajectory, he can talk like Charlie Brown's teacher in his interviews for all I care.

It is truly amazing the way that he speaks.
I wonder if that's just who he is or if he has a public and private persona.

There aren't any*. And still defense won us a couple games the offense tried to lose.

He has to act differently than that to be able to recruit as well as he has. I just think he hates the media and feels like he isn't obligated to tell them anything of value

People don't realize we have lost just 2 lineman the last two years to graduation. Kerby last year and Weisman this year. The line will be very seasoned and should be the strength of the offense.
