Makes next season's schedule interesting too:

Florida with only 3 true road games in 2017 (not including UGA game in Jacksonville or Michigan game in Dallas). And LSU with only 6 home games for 2017 (most SEC schools average around 7 or 8).

This benefits us some next year because we get LSU in Knoxville.

They still stand a better chance of winning with this delay. All their injuries would have been a sure loss. Now they have a better chance. I'm glad they lose the revenue though .

Why should we care about that? I'd rather they had played too and taken a beating at home.

I really hope we don't have to worry about this LSU-UF game though as it pertains to Atlanta. Hope it's written in stone by then. Those games are always good.

Allows LSU's offense to get more in rythym. That UF offense sucks even with Del Rio. LSU gonna feast that game, IMO.

I was hoping the Fl/LSU game would be at night, but there is not any games that are really interesting -- CBS will get it at 3:30

one thing ive learned, this team either finds a way or goes down swinging against all odds. last two seasons the worst deficit at the end of regulation has been 5. i fully expect us to be right there or on top. give me my boys, anyone, anytime, anywhere.

Damnnnnn, that streak of games starting with @UF is rough for LSU next season. I don't know if I've ever seen worse.

@UF
vs Barn
@Ole Miss
Bye
@Bama
vs Arky
@UT
vs TAMU

Yep. Had this discussion with a friend about UT-Mizzou being the CBS game. He said that CBS has a 5 game limit.

Seems like both schools recognized that they could benefit from this home and home swap.

UF knew they didn't have a good chance of winning the East this year, but getting all those home games next year helps them big time. Whereas LSU thinks they may have a slight chance of winning the West this year but much less of one next year, in which case a loss @ UF in 2017 isn't a big deal.

They are trying to hire a new coach--I'd be hesitant with that brutal schedule.

History lesson for the youngsters

From '95-'06

The Vols were 10-2 against Bama with one of those losses vacated because they are cheaters.

So when you think we will never win, this series goes in cycles. Bama has the longest streak of 11.

It's time we do a little streaking of our own.

I'm guilty of that. I mean no harm or disrespect to women but I have posted some things that I can see that would be disrespectful to women. When you say some guy should take a Midol that is insinuating they are a women at that wonderful time of the month. I as well as others need to remember that sometimes.

I think we all are to a degree. It's just one of those things that we should think about from time to time. I don't think anyone here means any harm, that much is obvious, we have really good people here both men and women. I'm very proud to be associated with the RF forum regulars because we have so many genuinely good people.

So living in WV, I am surrounded by wvu fans, I have converted many of my close friends into Vol fans. This is a game we cannot wait for! I believe we will be very good in 2018 too!

I recently spent a month working in Morgantown. I was impressed with how seriously they take their football.

However, I had my Vols lanyard on one day and a stranger walked up to me and gave me a "go Vols". Of course I returned the greeting. He then said "I've lived in Morgantown for several years and I always thought fans here were crazy about their football...but then I spent a weekend in Gatlinburg and saw nothing but orange everywhere".

My word if LSU makes it to Atlanta they have to hire Orgeron right? He's tailor-made for Baton Rouge.
