The more thought about this, there's absolutely no reason not to get that game in, hell Tenn played them on I think a Monday after a hurricane. They should have to play or they lose sec champ Eligibility, it should be cut and dry no questions asked. It's only the second week in October, they have plenty of time to figure it out

I don't see how every single other ncaa game in the country can be played this weekend but that one can't. How is the sec office still silent on this?

Sankey has no backbone and is afraid of upsetting Jeremy Foley.

Exactly.

It's amazing that every other program in or near the path has worked out their situation, but two mighty schools in the mightiest of conferences can't get their crap in order. Incompetence.

I don't know why people are still saying "They could play the game on Sunday or Monday". They can play the damn game tomorrow! Like they were supposed to.

Fellas, today marks 350 days since we last left a football field without a win.

This train is rolling tomorrow so let's not get too distracted looking at what else is going on..

Not every game is being played this weekend. UCF moved to November some time.

1.. The Aggies are banged up and held four starters out from last weekend’s game with South Carolina including defensive end Myles Garrett, receivers Speedy Noil and Ricky Seals-Jones, and right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor. In addition, running backs Trayveon Williams and Keith Ford were injured during the Aggies’ win over the Gamecocks.

A&M carved out a solid win over the Gamecocks without them and while most of them are anticipated back A&M needs Garrett and Williams as close to 100% as possible because they can’t replicate what they bring to the team. In particular, Williams is the home run threat on the ground that A&M has lacked until this year and no one else can deliver those types of big plays. A&M needs Williams hitting those home runs in the second half of games to put people away, particularly given A&M’s propensity to go to its perimeter game and then come back with inside runs.

"Find a time and place to play, boys, or take a loss. We've got to be fair about this." -- Something Greg Sankey will never say

This situation is the equivalent of missing an extra point at the very beginning of a big game. Just immediately gives you a bad feeling and thought of "that's going to come back and hurt us."

UF has new life now. Their road to Atlanta is much easier and they get to heal up.

I think this whole ordeal is going to give our boys new life, as well. Really hope that we can somehow pull out the win tomorrow.

What a mess this is- is Sankey rooting for Florida here because it sure appears like something is up. Weather is going to be fine to play the game tomorrow, Sunday or Monday!!! What is the SEC office doing? Force the teams to play this weekend since the storm isn't as bad as feared. Because just letting it slide looks an awful lot like giving Florida an easier path to the championship and they get an extra week off to boot. I don't care who you cheer for- this is as unfair a thing as I have ever seen in the SEC. Is the media outraged by this at all or just giving Florida a big ole pass? Damnit I hope this fires us up tomorrow even more.

Seriously

If this were to play out, I hope we freak out. Lawyer up and make the league look stupid. That would cost the university millions. No SECCG and would cost them a BCS/NY6 game.

We just need to win tomorrow and make Florida look that much worse.

The way Butch talked yesterday--I really don't think he's going to let it slide by nicely.
