Second catch he gave up he was close and going against one of the best WRs in the league.

Callaway came right back and caught a curl route on Buchanan then stiff armed him to the ground. Same drive Tyrie Cleveland went up top on the young man.

There's a difference in getting beat by Callaway and Cleveland. Lol

I like how both responded to being beat though. Martin made a couple of very good tackles the next couple of plays after being beat. And Buchanan also showed some good tackling as well in the second half. A defensive scheme change also helped the CBs as well.

I guess I personally don't get down on CBs for getting beat at times. Especially when playing off man coverage with no pass rush or safety help(go look at the plays the D-line didn't get in early on). Good luck finding perfect CBs there are NONE. Cam Sutton has spoiled quite a few fans I see.

On one of the deep passes Martin gave up Appleby scrambled out and bought some time. Ball was perfectly thrown, not a lot more Martin could have done

Our first hostile crowd road game being UGA sets up ideal for this team. These teams have played good games during CBJs tenure and had an epic comeback to win in 2015.

Getting away from Knoxville should clear the head for them to focus and UGA is credible enough to have their attention unlike a true low level team may not have following UF.

UGA has talent on their team and I expect them to have some pride. But this game is just another notch in the belt in securing the SEC east.

I also think the road game at aTm is in the Vols favor to once again give them a solid reason to focus on the football game. As there's no recent history affecting these players it's anyone's game to win.

I just can't see them not being mentally ready. It's Georgia. You're biggest divisional foe past Florida.

-Huge divisional foe.
-The East is on the line.
-Tuttle will be on everyone's minds.
-26 players are from Georgia.
-A loss ties the series again.
-You haven't played a complete game yet.
-Doubters are still everywhere.

-Georgia sucks.

I went to Sanford when the mighty QB of the Vols was Carrot-topped Nick stephens. We lost. But I wasn't that impressed with the crowd there. Pretty campus and stadium. But atmosphere, ehhhh

I was at Sanford in '06 and I got dogged on all day around town. But after Ainge led the boys, we blocked a punt for a TD and UGA got beat down I laughed like hell on my way out. What a great night.

Was there also. It was the worst/best road experience ever.

worst for me was a game at South Carolina. South Carolina fans were taunting and cursing at children and the one that werent cursing at kids, were passed out on the sidewalks. it was shameful, really.

I was in Athens for '04 and '06. Both wins. I agree, the atmosphere was lame. Campus and strip area was kinda similar feel to Knoxville.

Interesting.....Dobbs looks to be right on par with Watson as far as stats go.

Dobbs is an interesting player. When he decides that he just isn't going to lose anymore, he turns into this otherworldly player. We've seen it a few times.

That switch just doesn't click with him all the time. It's when he's playing from behind by several scores.

He can be really good. If he had been full-time from the opening kick of app state, his stats might be a little closer to Lamar Jackson's. Well, at least way better than Watson's
