Once Dobbs started running then our ground game improved and all of a sudden, he had some nice little pockets. That is the difference in the offense.

I watched the replay a couple of times now, focusing on the OL. They are like Dave Kingman..every once in awhile they connect and it goes a long way. Seventy percent of the time they whiff in a big way.

I'm not going to be liked when I say this but our oline is going to be be good in 2 weeks if they keep getting better. Pulling Thomas was the best thing that happened to him. When he sat out for the 2 series he did he realized he was not playing well and stepped up. Jashon though is struggling real bad. The only problem is there is no one to replace him. Though, I still feel like he will turn it on in the coming weeks. Richmond is a freshman and he showed it. I feel like seeing Jashon struggle so much got into his head though. Wiesman improved tenfold from the first week. He definitely put that game behind him. Jack Jones needs to play I am baffled on how just putting him in and shifting Wiesman to center improved that line. Another thing people won't want to hear is that the line is getting a push. There is a hat on a hat almost every play and unfortunately the only consistent miss is Jashon and it's also hard for 5 people to block 8 men. I'm going to put this in all caps so people can understand ok. You guys ready? CHANCE HALL WILL NOT MAKE THIS LINE BETTER BECAUSE THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE INTERIOR NOT THE TACKLES. There now that I said that we can move on.
TL;DR: Oline does not suck. Jashon need work. They will be a good oline.

And there should ABSOLUTELY be criticism. I'm not condemning criticism. That's what we do as fans...if we don't like the product being sold to us, we have a right and an obligation to let that be known. We're paying customers, after all. I just think sometimes it goes a little bit overboard.

You're really on to something.

It has been absolutely incessant since Sept. 1. Sucked absolutely any joy out of the wins. I walked back to my truck at Farmer Bob's in Bristol happy and laughing, turned on the radio, and it was a multi-hour barrage of complaints. Catching up on VN on Sunday wasn't much better.

A national primetime spectacle we've built towards for 3 years, go on a 45-3 and absolutely choke a team out (something we couldn't do last year)- and people are whining. Not complaining... whining. There is a very real and clear difference.

It's one thing to discuss things, and occasionally offer criticism. That is not what is happening. It's a negative echo chamber of what people think is awful, how awful it could be, what awful ways this awfulness will harm us, how much better other teams have it, and on and on and on.

I don't get it. Honestly.

Brillovol has something against D1. I can't put my finger on it, but he's been on the offensive against him.
