I hate it when you damn negashoes come on here and spew your ignorance without any facts. The stats are out there plain as day for anyone that bothers to look them up. These are IN FACT (stats proven) the Best Shoes ever.

I don't know why Freak let's people like you even stay on this board. You bring nothing worth while to the table. F***ing shoe troll! GTFO!

:)

Would be GOAT Vols shoes if Orange and Gray are reversed. Or with current color scheme with Smokey mountains outlined.
Put a Power T on it somewhere for gosh sake...
:)

What is the composite material rating on 247

Laces 5*
Uppers 4*
Soles 3*, but with a little bit more effort, could easily see a bump to 4* when re-eval occurs

Composite 4* currently...could be 4*+ even 5* by Fall camp depending on hard work being put in this Summer

Lmao still trying to wrap my head around the ree ree's that think I'm a UGA fan. I've only said a million times I live and grew up with UGA fans.

They'll try and convert you. I know, I married the daughter of one. Fortunately she now hangs up UT and UGA stuff around the house during football season. She even bought my a nice UT shirt for my birthday. They're not all bad. :)

Starting with the 99 team there were several years, particularly 2001, when some of the players seemed to be focused on "next year" meaning the NFL, and seemed to save themselves during the season. Fulmer even commented on it, and though I never heard or read where he called him out directly I believe he was referring to Jamal Lewis.

This became a problem for UT in the early 2000s and might explain some of the underachievement that people puzzled over. I personally suspect this led to Fulmer being undermined as the head coach and gradually led to his and UT's underachievement with the talent they had.

As much as I dislike Saban he seems to be able to focus his players on playing for Alabama while they are there, though some say there was a problem in 2014 team that Ohio State beat. Last year there was not.

The reason I bring this up is because so far, Butch has not allowed this to happen that I can see. I was really impressed that he ran off a couple of really good players that did not "buy in". While no one wants this to happen sometimes it's necessary. (I learned a valuable business lesson on this when a colleague of mine told me "if you can't fire them when you need them you'll never be able to fire them".) He was right!

This season will start to answer whether this will be true or not. If he can keep them focused and perform for UT then I agree with BB, this team could be better than any we have seen since 1998. If he can do this this year and into the future then he can be a great coach and our record will show it.

The one player I remember Fulmer commenting on indirectly was Kekky Washington in the 2002 FL @ TN where Kelly went for maybe 102 yards but clearly was trying to avoid contact at times by sliding & running out of bounds :mf_surrender:

UF game. Vols are up 31-17. 7:30 to go. Both teams have all 3 timeouts. We have the ball at midfield and Hurd breaks loose for a 12-yard gain and a 1st down. Their defense looks tired.

Is Neyland in a frenzy, or are 80% of the UT fans in attendance still preparing to have the W snatched away by some cruel twist of fate?
