Since the Panthers lost by a TD to the Falcons, who didn't even make the playoffs, I'm giving Denver and their #1 D a fair shot. Carolina's offense is playing better, but if Denver's D brings it, it'll be a good game.

This has to be a joke right? They lost 1 game all season. Do you know how many teams have done that in the history of the nfl and make it to the super bowl?

Denver manhandled a HoF qb who had an awesome year up to that game. I agree, Carolina should be favored, but that Denver D will keep it close enough that an off night from Carolina D could let Denver win.

That's almost always true though. At this point very few teams can win on an "off night." If this game is ugly I give the advantage to Carolina. Cam only needs a couple of plays to put points on the board. Peyton will need sustained drives.

Can't use things like that. They were due a let down and now they are even better since losing. Broncos lost to raiders and Colts who didn't make playoffs. It's all about matchups.

The Broncos were dogs to Brady and the Pats, too, yet they led them the entire game. The Giants came back and scored 21 points on Carolina in the 4Q and could have won if time hadn't run out. Now if the Broncos get in a hole, it will be hard for Peyton to dig them out, but if they don't have turnovers and keep it close, either team could win.

Denver's pass rush is nasty. Almost their entire front seven is a threat to get to the QB.

Panthers are certainly the favorite, but Denver winning wouldn't be a shock.

That pass rush didn't have to worry about a running game because ne was down to their third string rb. It was basically pin your ears back and get Tom Brady. They'll be neutralized SOMEWHAT by a good running game. (Brady threw the ball 56 times)

So, they got 3 spots left?? If so, I'm thinking that's with them already counting warrior as a vol. Gotta atleast take the OL Dickerson, DL Brown if they want in IMO. That's two very good freshmen at important positions for our football team. Not discrediting kongbo and byrd but I'd say they are more valuable then Byrd and kongbo just bc of the positions they play. If all those guys want in you would think they figure out a way to take them all. All very good looking football players. Nice problem to have

That pass rush has been the best all season, not just against NE.

I agree it probably won't be as great as it was Sunday though.

Lol at all the "I've come to x thread for recruiting info and see nothing but y."

You can't just come at the 11th hour and reap all the benefits of the RF.

That's what was reported. Those type of situations usually have a lot of hypothetical reasons given why the guy was cut loose. Usually nothing to support it. I believe Brown got into OU without issue and has been a great starting OT since.

So all the kids in Texas that cannot get into university of Texas or Texas A&M or any of other significant schools here in Texas are almost always accepted into the University of Oklahoma. I'm not really trying to bash Oklahoma but since that player you mentioned was able to get in there does not mean he can get into the University of Tennessee.

I hope you wouldn't bash OU using "excepted" into OU. I think the issue with Brown was he wouldn't qualify so Tennessee couldn't take the risk to take him. OU could. If these kids can qualify, they can get in OU, UT, Texas, aTm, etc. Dont kid yourself.

Isn't posting your opinions on a message board pretty much what you're suppose to do? I believe Carolina wins and you don't, why can't that just be the end? Nooooo I must not be in touch with reality or I'm a kid that can't focus. It's cool man, we don't have to agree. I don't even know you, what do I care

You're doing a piss poor job of expressing how much you don't care. And YOU AND I aren't DECIDING this...grasp that. My issue with you isn't your confidence in the Panthers...it's your meathead YOU GUYS AINT GOT A CHANCE...ACCEPT persona you're putting on here. When you cycle down reread what you've issued. I'm a Bears fan pulling for Peyton...I didn't guarantee a win against the Patriots and I'm not delusional enough to do so against the team that's been the big bad wolf all season long. But if Cam Newton has an off game or less than stellar performance, anything's possible. Calm down and enjoy the game. :matrix:

There are many recruits who could not get into an SEC school but could get into OU. Has nothing to do with prestige of the University, just how flexible presidents and conferences are willing to be with waivers and exceptions for football players.

My guess is we lock down Warrior and Brown, flip Byrd, miss on Dickerson, and I have no clue about Kongbo. He's icing though.

Riverdale vs Blackman basketball game

Who we there to see?

@Kreager: CORRECTION. There is a Tennessee football coach here. Was just told there was a UT coach here and assumed it was women's coach.

Gentry Bonds plays I believe.

Including the post season:

Broncos won five games vs a Super Bowl winning QB (including two vs patriots)

Panthers won six games vs a Super Bowl winning QB (including two vs the Saints/Seahawks)

In the regular season against playoff qualifying teams:

The Broncos won five games

The Panthers won four games
