I was in the Navy. There were a few Air Force guys on board ship for a few weeks once. I noticed their vernacular was quite different than our salty ways. There's that.

I spent over 8 years in the AF. Best decision I ever made. I highly, highly recommend it. All branches offer great opportunities, but the quality of life is honestly better in the AF. That's not a knock at all on any other branch, but imo a definite fact.

Agree that the quality of life is better. In the Army, and I am pretty sure the Marines, you learn to embrace the suck. It makes you tougher.

I have a brother n law in the Army and a few friends in the Marines and they all use that same phrase. I almost switched to the Marines at about the 10 year mark but decided against it. Was actually talked out of it by a Marine Gunny who said I would regret it

I wonder what our class rankings would've been in 14 and 15 if you subtract the transfers and gitshirts. Maybe a little closer to how this class will actually end up maybe? Not much 15 attrition yet thank the lord because we will need a ton of them on the field after next years NFL exodus. Factoring all the guys that are gone from 14 class though it wasn't really that great but this one will be compared to it as worse. Because of the signing day ranking.

wonder how this class and that one compares without those guys. Just some perspective.

If you like forced miserable camping with little to nothing and following orders that you think are dumb, then the Army would have been perfect for you.
