Has he actually declared or is this just swain throwing something against the wall? Did he submit anything for a draft grade?

I really liked North...from all that was reported he seemed to be a good kid who went about his business in a respectful, classy way. He showed flashes of greatness but struggled with injuries. I hate that we won't get to see him healthy again in a Vol uniform but certainly don't begrudge the young man for doing what he thinks is best.

Afraid he'll go undrafted...then he'll have to make it as a FA. If he's going to get paid before he retires soon, he'll need a lot of good luck come his way. Unfortunately, he's had very little of that in the past few years.

I wish North the best of luck. The good news is we were basically playing without him most of the time anyhow,and this is a great opportunity for another receiver to step up. Hopefully Croom can really excel this year.

The better news is that this opens up another scholarship for recruiting.

I don't blame North for leaving. He can probably raise his stock quite a bit at combine of healthy to get drafted in later rounds. It doesn't really hurt because we don't use him anyway and he has been hurt all of past 2 seasons

So we will have

Preston Williams
Jeff George
Vincent Perry
Cody Blanc
Jauan Jennings (unless he moves to S)
And whoever we sign this year.

Would love to see Evan Berry moved to this side of the ball

Yeah, same can be said pre snap w zone as well. Offenses try to evaluate everything at the los pre snap.. But I'm interested to see what Shoop brings to the table. Can't wait to see his Defense w our talent.

Wow not sure how thats a good decision. He has had health problems and yes he has a ton of potential I just dont see him even being drafted.
