Kamara is electric but I'll be excited to see a second year John Kelly take more snaps if Kamara does choose to leave.

Maybe it's just me but, I feel like JK will be a noticeable step down from Kamara. Nothing against the kid but, Kamara is like an expensive Swiss Army knife, there's just nothing he can't do...and do well.

I don't think we'll lose much at all. Kelly will be very good. Remember you're comparing a Junior to a Freshman. I expect a second year Kelly to eat if given the chance.

They're not really similar backs obviously. I love Kelly's running style and how he always falls forward. I think Evan Berry would be a better replacement for Kamara's role if we just want to get him some snaps on offense.

Kelly will be fine. He also has good burst and made nice cuts in limited action. Not really worried about him as a replacement

Would be nice to have Ak back for sure though

This is how I feel as well. Kamara was 3rd in the SEC in yards per rush. He runs downhill just as well as Kelly while also being the fastest guy on the field. He is the X factor that you see with a lot of championship caliber teams and I will be sooo salty to see him go.

Not just that Kelly can create big plays in the running game. Kamara is very good at getting what's there and creating off of that. The passing game is the only place where Kamara is unmatched and really by any RB in the country. But CFA is going to be nasty in the passing game as well. And Hurd is a very good pass catcher. We won't miss a beat if any of them jump. Especially with Shoop coaching the defense.

Kamara would see significant PT on many NFL teams. We aren't better without him.

Not saying we should throw in the towl on the season without him. But we aren't better if he starts playing on Sundays

"The latest I've heard suggests there's now a pretty good chance Sutton will stay. I think Reeves-Maybin is still a little closer to 50-50 but probably is leaning slightly toward staying at the moment, while Kamara seems like a complete coin flip at this point.

There's still plenty of time for that to change, though. Things have changed with those guys over the past few weeks, and they still have another eight days to decide."

Best recruiting news we've heard in a while .

I'm still so impressed that Butch went after Shoop even if Jancek more or less occasioned it.

One of the hardest things to do in any organization (ministry, business, sports, etc.) is to sacrifice something good for something better.

Butch is learning and growing. I just hope this job doesn't kill him. His face is showing the stress.

I agree. I think Evan Berry is just one of those guys that needs to touch the ball 5-7 times a game. No one in their right mind is going to kick to him next year. So Kamara's role would be perfect for him in my opinion as well.

We just need to consistently score 10 or so points per game next year and we should be fine.

Yeah I agree. Kamara is special. He's an element that we won't be able to replace.

I am really really wanting another year of the Dobbs-Hurd-Kamara combo. That's the best rushing attack pieces in the country. Without him we can still be very good, but not necessarily the best in the country. It's more of an unknown.

Plus it would be really great to redshirt CFA I think. And Kamara sticking around would probably free us up to do that.

No, definitely no, Tennessee's recruiting base is increasingly underestimated, especially when considering it's current upward trajectory, and "quality of life?" Bwahaahahahaha...it's freaking Alabama.

I think by quality of life they were referring to the suitcases of money you receive at Auburn.

Yeah, I have been thinking the same thing. Evan Berry seems like a great replacment for Kamara. I hope this is in the coaches' minds, too.

I think Vincent Perry is gonna be great to. I think he can do some of the stuff Kamara does from slot when he goes there. Could even line up in backfield at times.

He needs to play a Jeff Demps type role.

He should be the guy in motion pre snap.

Vincent perry will do well there this season as well.

Berry actually looks like a true RB. Demps was a track star only. Had no type of Football skills running the ball. Just was extremely fast.
