Me too! Slept a few hours today, I've drank 2-20 oz RedBulls tonight, prolly a 3rd in the morning when I get off at 7am, and then stay up til around Noon. Rinse and repeat tomorrow night.

Being a Vol fan ain't easy!

A few days ago, I was wondering if this thread was going to survive until NSD... :unsure:

How silly was I? It's not even going to survive the coaches' convention. :loco:

Not even expecting anything on the Shoop front today though to be honest. I wouldn't be a VFL if I didn't stay up to see

There's always something to discuss...regardless of whether it's football related or, for that matter, interesting.

Thankfully, silly season seems to be going our way this year.

Alright I'm ready. Got a nap in. I've got 48 hrs to f5 or I'm gona miss it, or to join the party. So it needs to go down. I want Shoop, a commitment, a flip from PSU, and analysts' completely through the roof praise about the hire combined with stupid high optimism and predictions for next year, all before Monday morning thanks.

Yeah, but some items pique a little more interest than others. Obviously, we're smack dab in the middle of such a time.

I consider the Football Thread the 'Living Room of the Recruiting Forum'.

Its a good place for like-minded (sometimes) people of a common interest to banter about. This time of year though, off-topic stuff isn't as necessary and the room tends to fill up with some of the folks from down the street.

Gut tells me they hold off till Monday. Master of details, Butch "Indiana" Jones, will get that AirPlay on the banner at the bottom of the screen when the nation is watching the NC game.

Not that I know of. Just saying that there isn't much to gain by releasing the Shoop news before today's game. Students aren't back and the crowd should be less than stellar.

Doesn't mean they can't announce it today.
