Kirkland from the Bama game on was destroying game plans and played on the level JRM. The Arky game was a learning experience for him. They really took him for a ride. Kirkland balled versus Bama too. He met Henry in the hole nose to nose and didn't go back one foot. Also ran OJ Howard down to save a TD that series.

Kirkland is special, imo. VERY SPECIAL.

Tuttle might be the most athletic DT we've ever had here. I like your boy Abernathy on the outside too. Looked real good in the latter parts of the season.

North looked to be moving around good in the bowl game as well. Remain heathy and sky's the limit for this team.

Tuttle is explosive at DT. He's a big problem for offenses. Probably a bigger problem than Barnett. He's going to be wrecking offenses from the inside. That's much worse than a man coming from just one side. Now Kyle Phillips and KMack's development are the wildcards. Also 4th year Vereen and Lewis are problems as well. Then add another wildcard in with super athletic Taylor. Going to end bad for offenses.

I wouldn't have wanted to face him midway through this season. I'm not sure I've ever seen a true freshman play that position so well and improve game to game so quickly. If our defense lives up to expectations next season they're going to be fun as hell to watch.

I think Hubbs and crew may be in the dark on this one. They said they didn't even expect Shoop here overnight and Hubbs said himself that he has really no idea what will happen tomorrow.
