I dont blame AK if he get a draftable grade for going. I think he could greatly benefity from another year in a college S&C program. I think he has to get better between the tackles, but if he can do that, a team like the Panthers would be idiots not to draft him in the 4th or 5th round. He is a guy that can run between the tackles or outside and motion into the slot. He is a weapon, but I think he can enhance his value next year for sure.

Kamara would be a deadly weapon with the patriots or chargers. They love those type of running backs who can run in between tackles or catch a ball in the backfield. I think another year would help his stock drastically but if he wants or needs the money right now, I wouldn't blame him.

I like the idea of requiring the tackler to attempt to wrap up in an effort to reduce concussions/injuries. It's simple, it's fundamental, and there'd be less gray area then current targeting/launching rules.

Works in rugby but, of course, leading with head is pretty ballsy when not wearing a helmet. Also, it's much harder for the NFL to sell perfect form tackles than human traffic accidents.

Remember Marques Ford?

Four-star defensive end Marques Ford, who redshirted as a true freshman while trying to bulk up, said he no longer felt that Rutgers was the best place for him.

"I just didn't feel comfortable there," Ford told Gannett New Jersey on Sunday night. "All the drama that happened earlier and then the coaching change."

Ford was a big story in college football circles last January, when he was forced to decommit from Tennessee because the SEC program over-extended its scholarship offers.

Elder taking a few Quality control/GAs to EKU. Greg Meyer to coach RBs/ST, chase Gibson Lbs, tommy zagorski TEs. So we should have quite a few spots to bring in some young up and coming coaches.

Elder prob hit a home run with his dline hire. He hired Walt Stewart who was a big help to Maggit and Barnett as a GA last year. He was FL AM dline coach this year. I would keep an eye on his progression. If he is successful I could easily see him one day replacing Strip when Strip is ready to retire.
