Where's 99 to talk about how amazing of a coach Franklin is?

I mean, those 9-4 seasons at Vandy couldn't possibly be because he played SEC teams during their historically terrible/injury-plagued seasons, could they?

With the previous guys recruits. We're seeing now what Franklin recruits were like.

Played no one out of conference. At one point, most of Franklin's wins were against Army, Elon, and a bunch of terrible teams.

The difference between Franklin and Jones is that Franklin's previous team imploded in 2014 and would have even if he stayed as head coach. Jones's teams are trending up each year not just in wins but in talent and overall competitiveness.

I get the feeling a higher power stepped in and told Alleva that Les stays. He seemed on edge/mad when he announced he was staying.

Agree there is a difference there.

I think Butch will make a believer of you eventually. But if I had to bet, I would put money on it actually not being next year.

Because the most Tennessee thing ever in 2016 will be us winning 10 games and fielding an amazing team, but losing to UF and Bama, or UF and some crap team like Mizzou and missing the SECCG again.

And then the fanbase will be divided despite us winning 10 games/11 games with a bowl.

Ya they'd have gotten murdered in public opinion. I think Les without Chavis is an average coach with elite recruiting grounds. His teams always won because of defense, and Les is an offensive coach.

Booger McFarland basically said that Les would be fine if he would just adapt his offense and hire an OC that would run a modern offense and develop a QB.

Speaking of, Dobbs had an almost perfect pocket to throw from all night. That's back to back games with excellent pass pro.

OL has become...good? Is it fair to call it that yet? I mean, we have a crap ton of rushing yards on the season and have given up about 22 sacks.

Nevada WR ran out of bounds, so instead of catching the pass, he let the db catch it first then took it from him haha

They have improved from "serviceable" to "good" status in my mind. Played two good defenses two weeks in a row and they dominated both. Hats off to them and the coaches. Hype train for next year's line should be real.

Nd
Fla
Mich
Miss st (recruiting purposes)
