Exactly. He would have two options for leaving.
1. Sit a year, train, and enter the draft.
2. Sit a year, play for a smaller school, enter the draft.
Option 1 would definitely drop his draft grade over staying here and racking up stats another year. Option 2 would probably drop his draft grade and would definitely take a year off of his NFL career. Either way he's losing big money for what seems like a pretty trivial reason.
Is the goal a title or padded stats?
Drop in level to pad stats says something about his character IMO.
And again I don't believe this is true at all.
"#1 - STFU! The only person you need to worry about "telling what to do" is yourself.

Put that in your pipe and smoke it."
This was 74's post on 10-06-15. So tonight makes his second reference to him leaving.
Sounds like Hurd it frustrated watching Chubb, Henry, and uncle Leonard get huge holes opened for them when he constantly gets hit as soon as he grabs the ball.
I love having Hurd on this team, and understand his frustrations. He needs to take a step back and see all of the injuries our OL has been hampered with this year. The OL will only continue to improve, which will make him look even better. The NFL scouts can see his talent, and that he is a complete back. He doesn't need to be in a different program with a more traditional offense for them to see his ability. Unless Butch promised him some carries from a more traditional look, like the power I, then he knew exactly what offense he was signing up for. If Butch did promise him something and isn't upholding his promises, then shame on him.
With all of that said, if Hurd wants to leave, then bye. I sure would hate to see that happen too, but I'm tired of reading about all the whining and complaining from some of these players (if it is actually true), who aren't getting their way. Too much me, me, me attitude! That's part of what's wrong with society today...when we don't get our way, we whine and complain about it and make threats until we do. I promise there are injured players currently on the roster who would love to be on that field with their team.
Hope none of this comes to fruition. GO VOLS!!!
Fournette didn't have any holes to run through Saturday night. Oh btw, Hurd almost ran for 100 yards on that defense with 2 true FR anchoring the right side.
