Yep I think we have the same opinion on the subject. Anyone else skips practice and they get punished

Now very likely he likes that cbj is being roasted. Heck yea but truth isn't shown here and it's not close IMO

What a mess- I definately believe something happened just too many dots to not connect to this being true. We got the reports of linemen missing practice before the opening game which seemed odd then the team just doesn't look the same as they did in the bowl game I kept saying something isn't right- this probably explains it.

Whether this is true or not there is definitely something wrong with the team chemistry. Maybe it's confined to the Oline. I think this is an indictment on Mahoney too.

This has Rich Rod/Michigan written all over it.

Fired him for exceeding number of hours his team practiced. NCAA rule.

They found a reason and ran with it. I'm sure it had nothing to do with his record.

At this point, it seems more likely to me that Crowder was a baby about this whole thing and they screamed at each other and had to be separated. Maybe that's just me.

He avoided. He declined to comment to not validate message board rumors.

Have you ever seen people avoid before. He did. If it's not true you say I don't know of this happening. Or it's not true. Or it's football things happen but we are behind coach jones even if it did and was minor. But he avoided the question without saying yes or no

Yeah, as no nonsense as Butch seems that was very out of character. Makes me wonder what happened with Pig before last season when he left the team, with all these other guys like Byron Moore saying stuff. It may be nothing to do with Jones, but I never heard for sure what it was. It may have been said what it was and I could have missed it. Anyways I am on the fence with Butch, but I don't want the Mack rumor to be true that does nobody involved any good.

This is kinda what I'm thinking as well. The timing is so suspicious. Maybe there's something going on behind the scenes to create a situation where Hart and Butch can be let go in one fell swoop.

I know that's some serious tinfoil hat conspiracy, but it's not like people in positions of power aren't ever let go due to technicalities or bad PR being released at convenient times.

Social media, including message boards, is generally not understood as a forum where the truth is the "lingua franca". A dismissive attitude is realistic.

Why on earth would his dad not squash this if it truly did not happen- he must know media is getting hold of this by the hour and his response just stirs the pot more. I agree with Catbone it would be our luck to suddenly start winning and then Butch gets fired because of this yuck!!! Why would Butch do something so stupid?!!!! If true which I am believing it is...

The conspiracy theorist in me has wondered the same thing. Easy way to save $10 million.
