First time to the board since the weekend - just trying to get relevant news ahead of Saturday's game. I don't plan to hang around much unless we start winning and soon. Butch has lost me.

I'll never disclose names but i did receive a 2nd call and then heard from Swain that he also got a phone call. So i contacted a few offensive coaches including Azzani because this has to get fixed or this initial ball of frustration will grow and grow and then they'll lose the team to turmoil. Last my connections don't have any where they are from type of restrictions.

Edit: now I'm hearing from very reliable sources that Crowder and CBJ have been in an altercation. I know if an old situation but i was called and asked have i heard about this going on this wk. I was told the altercation was over the way CBJ belittled Crowder in front of everyone else.

I'm with Nick, I'm gonna enjoy the ride no matter what. Maybe this just is who we are. But maybe we can bust over this mental hurdle and still have a great year. I feel like the team is in place to not just win, but potentially dominate. We have not just lost two close games. We lost two close games that we were a couple plays away from winning by 3 TD's or more. We have to seize those opportunities when they come and put teams out of their misery early on. Can't let them hang around. We've got some young guys and some proud veterans still scattered all across this roster. They are hungry, they put everything into this. They expected to win. There is still hope that the mentality and outcome of the season can still turn around drastically.

Just one game at a time. We need a feel good moment. it could go a really long way at this point.

I'm still in their corner. I'll always be there.

Is it getting bad within the team? Most players seem to really like the coaches from the little I've seen them tweet and what not but I really know nothing. I'm curious now. Hopefully things get worked out this would be catastrophic.

If crowder thing happened it was prob before season during the benching for Thomas. I don't know what they would have to argue about at this point

I will just mentally check out for a while if we lose on Saturday. It was my best coping mechanism in 2011 and 2012 (until I started rooting for Dooley to be fired), and I definitely went there after we got destroyed by Auburn and Mizzou in 2013.

If we don't have 8 in the W column by the end of the year, Butch is not the coach that will win us Championships.

No offense, but if the goal is to keep the situation (assuming there is one) from blowing up (as described by the efforts to contact the staff to help them keep from "losing the team"), why are we sharing it on a public message board with emotionally unstable fans who twist every shred of information and then beg for more?

I feel like I'm back in high school all over again! My word! Grow up, babies! These younger generations will have an extremely rude awakening when they enter the real world, where you definitely don't always get your way. If this was a job for some of them, they would have already been fired.

On a good note they caught the guy that went through the parking garages at UT cutting up convertibles and soft top vehicles . Cut up my son's convertible top and seven other vehicles in the garage he was parked in. He went through other garages too.

Have been a Vol fan for 40 years. There have been a lot of good times and there have been some bad times. I was with them through the good times...and I will stick with them through the bad. We are close. The good times will be returning soon.
