Suspending them for weed is not stupid when they are told they can't do it. It is like speeding on a road where I think the speed limit is too low. I still have to follow the rule. If they want to succeed, then don't do it.

This is what I posted yesterday

Interesting stat I just looked up.

Gross punting avg vs BG.

BG's punter avg'd 48.66 yds per punt.
UT's punter avg'd 47 yds per punt.

Both teams punters had excellent gross punt avg's, so what was the big difference in net?

Speed.

BG's punter could kick the hell out of the ball, but their ST players could not keep up with the ball, giving Cam time to get up to full speed and the blockers time to find their assignment.

UT's punter could kick the hell out of the ball, but on our side, the ST's unit could keep up with the kick and were waiting for their returner when he caught the ball.

Their best starting position in the game was their own 35 and that was from a muffed kick off. I think our was in their red zone or close to it. "



Now there is a whole damn article saying the same thing. I got one stinkin' like (thanks to whoever gave it) for my post!

Sweet. Gotta love the loud pipes. That's always the first modification I make to a bike. I know they annoy a lot of people, but I don't care. I'd rather they be annoyed and hear me, than not hear me and kill me. Because lord knows, it's too much to ask that they look before they go.

I don't think we can run the edge against OU like we did BG. I don't think our return game will be as lopsided. Can Dobbs make the passes to free up the offense?

They were playing off our WRs. That's why he worked the mid range passing game a lot. Pearson is a weapon in the mid range passing attack. He and Howard will eat then Wolf will kill them. Also expect North to go off. They'll sell out to stop the running game after getting gashed early.

Wouldn't surprise me. There was another board out there that had an insider -- true insider too who would tell all. I mean gossipy stuff (these are the days of our lives: Vols edition) and stuff that just shouldn't be leaked out. Most of what we know about the AJ case came from him as it seeped over here as well as on other message boards.

If I were Butch I'd want to plug that leak too. It doesn't surprise me that there's a lot less info than before and that the info that does leak is often wrong.

So DO is suspended for a failed drug test.

It's been said here he hasn't been suspended before. It would have been a 1 game deal. Is that correct that this is his first suspension ?

He is suspended indefinitely which worries me that this isn't the normal failed test. Keep in mind that each failed test carries a mandatory penalty per school policy if it was a school administered test

If this was an NCAA issues failed test he is done for an entire year.

Hopefully I am reading way top much into it but I don't understand why he isn't suspended 1 game like Pig unless he has already been suspensed that game

I think it goes off of number of failed tests. Maybe he failed before in the off season, was punished internally, and we never heard about it.
