Pass on all those guys. Butch won't even give a second to consider Tee. Walt Bell isn't impressive to me. Blake Anderson had his hands on that offense as much as Bell did.

Herb Hand is out of left field. Don't think we get him for the simple fact that we already have an OL coach and that is Hand's specialty.

I don't know about Eddie Gran.... Gran has some recruiting ties.

I like Quarles. He's done an amazing job at Maryville. But, not sure he's worth the bump straight to OC.

After looking at the candidates being discussed, I want Sonny Cumbie from TCU. He is not only a OC but is also a QB coach. He would be a perfect fit. He would bring fresh ideas to the scheme. I put him at the top along with Rod Smith.

My list, for what it's worth, would be:

1)Matt Limegrover
2)Azzani
3)Magee

Butch will make the right call. He's earned my trust at least.

I'd love to see Quarles a shot as a position coach. CZA as OC and CGQ added would be alright. If CZA takes the HC gig I'd go all in on Cumbie at about 600 grand per and hire Quarles as WR coach. JMO

I know Z's is being tossed around as a future HC. Would anyone be opposed to Z as OC for a few years until he gets a good HC offer and bring in Quarles as the WR coach and possible future OC candidate as he gets comfortable with the offense, when Z leaves?

Edit: Dang Leb you beat me by seconds.

He is friends I of the family and biased towards the staff IMO.

Just freshmen being freshman and this guy wants to rile up the board. he is just beleiving the negative side of recruiting never existed until now.

Actually what being experienced is what we call in group bias. It's when fans cannot rationally see anything negative about their team. In groups only believe that their team is perfect the way it is and if someone leaves or has an issue it's a personal problem. That's where terms such as seeing through orange glasses comes from and coach worshipping.

It would be much better if you just expand on your vague statements.

Butch is just a mean sob, and thank goodness for that.

Honestly, the only two that I really would like to see us land are Rod Smith or Sonny Cumbie. Those two would be good for the position we are trying to fill. Go all in on those two and see who bites.

I like Cumbie also, that TCU offense was sick this year. It appears that offense isn't too complicated either. That offense with the defense we have coming back would be fun to watch.

I would love to get a ruthless play caller as an OC. I'm tired of being up 14-20 points and then calling off the dogs. No, that is not what you do. You keep hauling butt until the game is over.
