Regarding all the Blair debate it's my opinion Butch and crew were quasi sand bagging for this season. Blair is one and Dobbs was the other. We will be woefully thin on Sr's on the line in 2 years. Blair came in out of shape and not ready mentally. Had he played later in the season it would have been a waste when 2017 he will be needed. IMO Dobbs was meant to play 2017 also. Worley's injury prevented that.

Jucos shouldn't have to be developed. See Weatherd for example. Came right in and was a factor. Blair was here in Spring. He was supposed to win that LT spot. Kid on a torn ACL outplayed him.

Hmmm, seems like even a rocket scientist needs a season and a half to learn Jake's offense.

Slippery slope to that sand bagging talk but either you are right or they just totally misevaluated our QB situation. I think they were saving both of them too DD.I think Blair will be ready to go and have a better two year contribution after being RS'd. Patience, remember.

JMoore, you lurking out there during this Pats game?

Missed you this recruiting cycle. We still have 3 weeks left, how bout you give your best input everyday till NSD

I've been thinking the same thing since Dobbs had to come in. I think he was being hidden for a breakout season next year.

I second this.

Side note: That last TD pass by Brady is one of the reasons I like S. Jones as my pick for our QB in the future. From one of his highlight videos he was working on that, just catching the snap and getting the ball out as quick as possible, no laces. I think he's perfect for this offense, jmo.

That's what inVOLuntary and I concluded awhile back. All the talk about how any style QB could work in their system. No, not really. Personally I think it was going on from Day One. You do not play a true freshmen on your O-line that has a grand total of 2-3 weeks practice at the position as in Robertson. Then they start another one against Okie? Nah. Not with Kendrick, Wiesman, and Sanders with a year's experience in the program and Thomas giving up a half dozen sacks a game. Not when they could have plugged Blair in halfway through the season when they saw Thomas stunk at it. No way he would have been worse. 2013 was a 'let's see what we got and who we need next season' while they trained them up in the system and the Big East coaches learned the lay of the land in SEC. Much of this has appeared scripted, probably with Hart's agreement early on. Agree that it was obvious Dobbs was to roll out next season and shock the world. Butch felt good they would get to a bowl with Worley. But that got real questionable before Worley's injury since he was getting beaten up so badly. No doubt we are happy today because Dobbs took control and Thomas came out of the line-up. We might have been gritting out teeth again this offseason if not. Especially when AJJ was suspended.

LSU fans are thinking that Dick LeBeau resigned from Pittsburgh so that he could become DC at LSU :eek:lol:

Rivals is full of morons! First they don't have Williams as a 5*. Then they have Kahlil only #9 overall. Tuttle outside the top 50.

And now this.

Mike Farrell
@rivalsmike: Anyone who thinks someone other than Brady is best quarterback in NFL is wrong. Just my opinion. http://t.co/DWoq9AElsx

I agree. Blairs first year of JuCo he could have beaten out coleman at OT, out of shape and everything.
