Jave is scared of Oklahoma when we were in the game with a very young team on the road. :)

Jave remembers BB calling us to win a bunch of games we lost.

I said if OU brings back most of their D, it'll be a tough game. You think it would be easy game for us if most of their D came back?

And I've never said Hurd goes down easy, that clown has an axe to grind and will attribute any negative comments to me.

Hurd will be much stronger next season. Watching the game again. His frame room to add muscle comfortably. Scary thought for opponents. :)

I doubt there are five RBs in college that run harder and are more punishing to tacklers. He will finally break some long runs next year.

Iowa couldn't handle it. Rest does the body well

No doubt. The whole team was noticeably faster than they were at any time this season, especially the end of the season and were wayyyyy more than many teams could handle.

I think Ferentz was right rather than making an excuse for his team's performance when referring to the tape, preparation, and what he'd expected to see, he said that was the best we'd executed all year. We were rested and our team, while still the youngest in CFB, had a season of experience under its belt and extra practices/a mini camp to prepare them even more. That combination gave them a chance to really show off.

While Iowa's a mediocre team they aren't a bad one and this team dominated them in every aspect of the game despite their youth and while also missing three starting WRs and Malone being limited. Our WRs getting healthy for next year plus all those freshmen and underclassmen returning, growing, gaining even more experience, and only beginning to realize their potentials should be a scary thought for a lot of coaches who will face them over the next 2-3 years. And that's before we add in the incoming recruiting class. Our future is incredibly bright. :)

Gonna need to see us healthy, and pumping that summer workout OL sunshine reports, before I begin to project next season.

Could be a wild year, one way or another, with just a little variation

I was sitting here thinking about which freshmen impressed me this year the most....and yeah you have Hurd, Barnett, Kelly Jr., and Wolf.....but one player that really impressed me this year was Jashon Robertson. One of the few bright spots on the Oline.

Absolutely. I'm anxious to see if big Charles can have an impact on the OL next season.
