Cowboys pull another one out of their arse. Sec refs called the game and Jerry's got deep pockets. Oh well good luck in Green Bay next week you will need it.

Loved this quote by golfer Jason Dufner during the Lions-Cowboys game:

Has anyone realized that we will have to wear Adidas during spring ball? That feels pointless...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the contract runs out sometime in May-July. Oh well, I like the idea of debuting Nike in the fall anyhow when more people are paying attention.

For any poster:

If you know of any sale any site/place is having to purge their Adidas hear over the next few months, please share on here. Thanks

University of Tennessee - Knoxville - Adidas

50% off all adidas gear. Bought some stuff on here. Warning though, a hoody was not in stock and they did not inform me until after I bought all my items and they were shipped. They refunded the money, but it would have been nice to know my item wasn't in stock before I purchased it, so I could buy something else.

I posted this in the sports forum but I will post here as well because the amount of cry babies about one call are cracking me up. One call never wins or loses a game for a team. Maybe the lions should have went for it on 4th and 1 or I don't know stopped Dallas from scoring a td, or better yet scored when they got the ball back. Go listen to Chris Carter talk about face guarding and NFL rules. The ref that threw the flag was 35 yards away and the two closest to the play overturned him. Not uncommon.

What about the lions second td drive where Stafford scrambles for a first down on 3rd and 8. After the defensive back missed the tackle the defensive lineman had Stafford dead to rights until bell shoved him in the back. No call. Lions go on to score. Calls go both ways. Listen to Chris Carter this morning talking about how it wasn't pass interference and face guarding is legal and it was the refs that were closest to the play overturning the call from the ref across the sideline.

My buddy is a football coach at the high school level and absolutely despises the cowboys. His text to me after the game "Do I think it was a bad call...absolutely. Does one call ever cost a team a 60 minute football game...absolutely not."

Watching the game again, does anybody know how Barnett did one on one with Schreff throughout the game. It appears Barnett had the upper hand.

I heard Hyams on the radio this morning say Tennessee was down four receivers in the bowl game. I recall Croom, North and Smith. Who else am I forgetting?

Scherff, when going one on one with our DEs, did pretty well the entire game. Weatherd blew by him early in the game, but it didn't happen again from what I saw.

Barnett made him work all game, however. Barnett was never able to successfully bull rush Scherff. He did get to the outside a few times, which helped collapse the pocket. In short, Barnett did not dominate him, but Scherff did not dominate Barnett. JMO. It was a good match-up, and we found out what we already knew - both players are great and have 1st round written on them.

I read somewhere that Malone was limited with an injury too. Didn't play much. Maybe that's who he was referring to.
